The difference between mine and Jayjay's is in the horizontal blue segments. Jayjay has dark blue where Austin and I used medium blue, swapping several pushes and pops around and ultimately messing up one of the turns.

Cheers Devjoe,

Just couldn't see the difference when I looked at them late last night.

doublecross,

With the wave 3 only packs being released today/tomorrow, could you perhaps not give any hints until the list of first 10 solvers is filled?
This might give some people a chance to get on the board that have contributed to this topic without having the card (devjoe for example, not sure about baf or some of the others).

well I have to say if hes solved it he gets to choose how long he waits till he spills the beans as it were. I was going to hold off for a coulpe of days with the *head rush* solve but the day after I solved it someone came in credibly close with there pic and someone else got it.. I got nearly a days worth of glory.. Let him have his glory we all get some some time.

all??? certainly not me, and lately just seems to be doublecross and o m mitchell. Lots of people in the past but there's clearly an elite, and hats off to you. Can't wait for those nuggets. Just as hungry as when my landlady suddenly announced she wasn't cooking us sunday lunch any more and we had to go to KFC on Green Lanes. I just hope those nuggets won't require any working knowledge of Piet, or I'll never get there.

Ollie, snakes on a plane, just ignore him.

As for the card, I'm starting to wonder if the remaining stack contents (aka 31414) are really the whole message, but I can't seem to make any sense of different things I'm trying. One somewhat promising idea, going along with a previous post was:

Can you post your correctly coloured tiles for 1 & 9.

Here's the correct pic of the merged 1 and 9 for your amusement.
It's kinda small but traces perfectly.

And here's a pic of the trace with the words added around the edges:

PLEASE - someone with the card please vet the text. I am relying on what has been posted as I don't have the card myself.

Can't spoilerize this but it's nothing that hasn't been posted already . . .

Great puzzle! Can't wait until the wave three cards are released here so I can try to finish it Smile

EvilGenius,

The trace is incorrect. The push(5) on the left should be push(4) and the push(4) on the right should be push(3) (both going from normal yellow to dark yellow across the centre of the picture).

Ahhhhhhhhh a Piet programme, that is so cool!!!! Piet has got to one of my favourite esoteric langauges. Typical, though, that there is not an OSX interpreter, I guess it's the Mac user's chance to twiddle their thumbs after Differntly lethal Smile

Or I could write one I guess ... hmmm

Couldn't you download the C source from:

http://www.bertnase.de/npiet/

Compile with gcc and go? You would probably be restricted to .ppm image files, but it should work.

all you need to do is install some libraries for GD and PNG and you're good to go. as an added bonus you can compile the npietedit program which makes color selection and conformity a little easier.

Indeed. I had fixed that and got it to trace correctly and then used the wrong image for the above Embarassed Standby for correction.

And here it is:

Ashin - Thanks for checking the word surround!

I know this doesn't directly relate to the puzzle.. but I decided to take a break and mess around with Piet. Has anyone written programs for it? It's pretty fun... I got one to print out the letters of the alphabet in a loop:

Maybe we can write a Piet program to crack the 13th Labour, lol! Laughing

Sure.. here's the trace:
http://www.jazzychad.com/piet/alpha_filled_trace.png

The link from the above post was of an enlarged version of the actual program here:
http://www.jazzychad.com/piet/alpha_filled.png

The codel size for the big one is <edit>6 pixels per codel (I had listed the square, 36, before)</edit>. I ran it with npiet on windows and it terminates fine. Although, I did spend 20 minutes figuring out how to terminate gracefully (I even managed to have an empty stack... no memory leaks!).
