If it *isn't* semaphore then it could be Arthur Conan Doyle's Dancing Men code, as described here.

hmmm interesting. from the diagram at the top of that page it seems to involve arm movements and legs being bent/straight and at various angles, which fits with some of what we've got, but doesn't explain the forward/diagonal steps especially considering they are pretty much all either with straight legs or en pointe. worth pursuing in case these are a red herring and mean nothing though.

rach =)

Scrub my last post. It's not the Dancing Men code - I'm almost definite the arms are semaphore and (using the cute little animation - thanks spugmeistress Smile ) I read it as:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
'A place in PXC not a number'

No idea what the legs mean though.

If ech read it right, the only thing I could think that could apply to that would be
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
infinity,

which would point to
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Infinite Loop, one block south of Cervantes, near Tippy's Apartment
Mobius District, in the southeast

Anyone with the card want to take a shot?

No luck
Shame

I think we probably need to decipher the message from the legs part of the dance in order to get the whole question.

Very Happy Woo Hoo

No leg deciphering needed...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The "Not a Number" refers to NaN and therefore infinity (as GasparLewis has already mentioned)

The answer is:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Mobius Strip

cassandra - Many thanks for your diagnosis and putting me on the right track Smile

Great Very Happy - we seem to be solving these Wave 3 silvers a bit quickly - now all I need is the card Rolling Eyes .

Great work everyone! We got this silver beat a lot sooner than I anticipated. Hmm, now for my other Wave 3 silver, Water Music!

So wait, I was actually instrumental in solving this?
Shocked

Dear sweet merciful heavens, I did something useful!

Woo-hoo!
Of course, this was a team effort, as always.
Brilliant work to all involved.

Onward ho! Very Happy

What's frustrating is that we put in

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The Mobius Strip

on Saturday and got refused, darned definite article, or we'd have got a first solve!

Thank goodness. Followed this thread and am glad someone's brain is working. Got the labanotation bit, but think was reading bits in wrong columns. Mine looked more like synchronized swimming!
Oh well, onwards to Mosaically Challenged.
