Very nice card this. Not too easy yet not too difficult.

Kudos goes to Agent Lex for his rapid solve of this one and 'little hint' which enabled me to have a crack at it and do the rest myself.

I'd recommend working through this one yourself, it is a satisfying card, but if anybody is stuck, here is an initial hint :
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Look at the card's background for a clue as to what you should be looking for. Once you are in the right subject area, you can decode the numbers and finally discover what the decoded text is leading you to.

Enjoy! Smile

I've spent a while looking at the background (I even wasted a while analysing a wierd black patter at the bottom left corner... only to realise it was my thumb print...doh), but I can't make anything out of any use. OK I can see some circles and a strange triangle shape mid bottom left but that means nothing to me. Should I be seeing something else?

yeh

inverted the card's colors to help bring out the background, but to me it just looks like meaningless circles (same as it does normally and just looking carefully). Nope, not really getting any ideas here. At all.

Right, as I'm now getting a lot of PMs for this card, and my fingers are already worn to the bone on Google, I will offer another teensy hint :

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
All The World's A Stage...

More nuggets will follow if it proves too small a hint!

hmmmm.... still totally blank.

i can't seem to see any connection between that and the the background on the card, which i still have no idea what it is other than meaningless circles like thereverendeg. ..

Call for help....

OK I'm a bit slow on this one, so could I ask for another clue... please....

Here's where I'm currently up to (major spoilers so don't look if you are in the early stages of solving this card)

I think the symbols/numbers are:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
A stage lighting plot - showing parcan and fresnel lights

The numbers represent:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
ROSCO filter colours i.e. R045 = Rose, R393 = Emerald Green etc.

Am I on the right lines here ?

I've decoded all the numbers but now I'm stuck. Can anyone give me a nudge in the right direction?

looks like it, what's all the ROSCO code?

I've decoded all the numbers but now I'm stuck. Can anyone give me a nudge in the right direction?

OK, not having any theatrical background, this card has been a real struggle for me, so thanks to those who shared their experience! I got pretty far, but now I'm stuck again.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I've decoded the 20 'things', and ended up with some 'things' that translate to a 6-character 'thing'. It suspiciously looks like I need to go find that 'thing' and identify it for my answer, because I already know the 6-character 'thing' isn't the answer. OK, my problem is, I can't find that 'thing' anywhere!

A nudge would be appreciated! Wink
