wait wait....why exactly would a girlfriend never kill over borrowed money?
Maybe never was a bit strong, but chances are she wouldn't. She could just take the money back, right? She'd have access to his house? Theft is better than murder.

assuming he still had the money, usually when people borrow money, they use it to purchase something.

Audioslave does have the correct idea though.
Generally speaking women are more likely to to commit crimes of passion (i.e. over cheating, or if he wounded a beloved pet) than over items such as money. It could be that the GF killed him over the possible affair with the boss's wife.

MageSteff has a good point there. I was just trying to cover all the angles. It seems to me that there is something in it that has to do with a lover affair of some type. My opionion(sp?) is that it is a Passion Crime.
Hey Audio.
Tell me how the interogations goes, I have a track meet when it is happening.

not 100% but i asked him via msn and he said he was going by the time on his watch, which would be BST. I'm in the UK so i wanted to get things straight as I'm easily confused, he gave me a time check and it tallied with my watch, but no show as of yet so he may have decided to go GMT on us.....
I'm not saying i have to be right, its just i tried to clear it up with him and he told me he was going by his watch, which should be on BST not GMT. It confused me..

I'm not saying Audio doesn't have a good point. I just think it's especially dangerous in investigating crimes to rule things out because of what "most likely" happened. In all the cases that i've been apart of, the most likely explanation never was the explanation.

I never rule out anything, I'm just saying that it's very unlikely. In an acctual investigation things are considered unlikely, so the investigators move on, we need to do the same thing here, considering the clues we have, we need to choose the most likely senarios.

Well, Mike has a huge temper. He was swearing his head off at us when he pricked him a little. He doesnt like to be insulted and hates being laughed at. He is a prime suspect for an spur of the moment murder.
Nice questions WW.
This may be premature but I would say not him.
Standings so far (My opinion). (X-no ?-not yet interviewed !-possible suspect)
Mike Verdon - drug dealer. X
Danny Morris - employer. ?
Jenny Morris - employer's wife. ?
Joe Foggerty - best friend. ?
Laura Green - girlfriend. ?
John Harrison - father. ?
Stephanie Lyons - father's partner.

IRC logs cost money? mIRC logs my chat rooms for me. Everyone remember to set your preferences to log chatrooms and private chatrs and you shouldn't have to pay for it...

I have made a chatroom for the interrogations. The questioning of Mike
Verdon has been postponed until Monday, 17th April at 21:00 GMT.
Here is the link to the chat room: http://www.chatzy.com/545385288792
but yes its always a good idea to set your chat devices to log chats if at all possible.
