I really do agree with the sentiment Saevitia, but if they are going to be putting stuff like this out:

Quote:
Unfiction will be contacted and their administrators have already agreed to cooperate in banning you there as well.

yeah they don't have to play the uf way, I'm all for some diversity, but then don't go crying like this place has anything to do with them.

Omaga71, your ban was accidental, he's lifting it now. He thought you were someone else.

Since you appear to have some sort of in with the admins there, might you ask them why the heck they would invoke uF and imply that we have some sort of "agreement" with them?

And please stop asking people to delete information from their posts, thanks.

Not sure why he did that, probably out of human nature and frustration. The info got out during a swap to a better bulletin board. And he had alot going on (from what I can tell).

So, as you said it was an empty threat, out of frustration and anger.

P.s. No one said www.dfwr.org was an ARG or had to abide by some ARG code of conduct.

So on behalf of those that... well for lack of a better word... "care" about our bulletin board. My apologies for the empty threat, just trying to protect something I guess.

Sorry, who are you? An admin there, or just another fan offering perspective?

I have the same contact with the admin Saevita has with him.

So a fan offering perspective, with a little bit of insight to go with it.

For what that is worth.

Given that the PM (assuming this is a game) has required that players link back to his site, in particular suggested using forum sigs, and also required that he be able to validate those links exist, well, he pretty much knows every site each of you use. I'm not sure I'd like a stranger knowing everywhere I go when I'm not at his site.

Just a thought, and probably paranoid Wink

They're bluffing. I refuse to believe that UF would ban users for showing the next step in a game. That's what we do here. This site is OOG, and any PMs that won't accept that don't deserve to run a game.

You are free to browse and post on the forum. There is no such requirement for that.

If you mean to participate fully, then well yes. But that is up to you, just like everything else.

To each his own.

I figured as much. Watch the pretty forum switcheroo!

/me moves this to a much more appropriate forum.

Now all of you play nice, before I ban you.... FOREVER!!! Rolling Eyes
