My, that certainly was a quick game!

*ahem* Now for another . . . I shall start off with the ICMG Coal Hill Base gambit, and play:

SHOREDITCH

If anyone is wondering what Morning Crescent really looks like. This picture was taken last night.

Oh no...carry on. I'm still bathing in my victory.

I thought some context was in order.

Why, Macavity, why?

By playing the ICMG Coal Hill Base gambit on the last day that Shoreditch station is open, we're forced into the Pocklington Double Helix. Not even the Clown Dance can break out of this one, though nicely tried.

Hmm. There might be a way, but it's a bit risky:

SHOREDITCH HIGH STREET

EDIT for typo

But BBuck; Shoreditch High Street won't open for another 5 years (their prediction of the date work finishes was too optimistic, not taking in the discovery of the Tube "Super Rats"), and the temporal collusion ammendment wasn't ratified by the International Mornington Crescent Syposium until November 2032, is that a valid move?

I reckon the only possible solution is to apply a quaternary paired sacrifice by quickly playing Lancaster Gate before it shuts next month.

My, we're certainly biting Heisenberg's Uncertainty Biscuit a bit too close to the caramel center, eh?

We've been getting a little flashy in the last set of matches, so I think a simple oldie-but-gooide would serve as a breath of fresh air, no?

I'll stick with the Xerxical Alef-Bet Fulcrum Sweep; LA----- goes to MA-----, or rather:

MARYLEBONE

And in the spirit of fresh air, inspired by the late Joanna Shelley's Triple Axel F at the Everest High Altitude Championships (she will be missed whenever the University Challenge is made), I play Schrodinger's Box:

Embarassed How crude! Still, if we must be saucy then I've gotta get in a Burlesque Reprisal Backhander onto the DLR with (you guessed it)....

To which I must respond with the Gallifreyan Terror Network gambit, and join the Yetis in the loo at:

Tooting Bec!

*Macavity gets dragged away by the FBI, NSA, CIA, MI5, and several other alphabet-soup agencies for mentioning terror networks.

Regretfully, you've failed to account for the natural history of the Yeti, it is obviously moulting season and ASMUBH (Abominable Snow Man U-bend Blocked with Hair) Clause (part of the ape-man addendum of '79) allows me a tiny but significant diversion to:

Begging everyone's pardon, but I feel left out. Accordingly, with the Mid-Game Fatherland Blitzkrieg -- which, although regrettably politically incorrect, if memory serves, is the only way a new player may join more than six moves into a game on Father's Day (and it's still Father's Day here in the States) -- I play:

High Street Kensington
