Oh, well played, sir! Well played indeed! However, I will now counter with the King Richard Gambit (also known as 'Princes in the Tower'), and go for:

Tower Hill

After noting the quality of play in our first match, I feel that we can move onto a looser rule-set, allowing for a little wilder play. Perhaps the infamous 1967 game held between Andy Warhol and Lou Reed can inspire us? Their usage of the Republique Misiere should, if I'm right, take our game international - GARE DU NORD.

Hmmm... there's few ways to counter such a blatant frontal attack, but Dali tried this spirited defence against the Australian Prime Minister (I forget his name; it was the one with the club-foot) during his tour of the antipodes. There was an M.C. in three moves if memory serves.

Nyugati Palyaudvar

Hah! Now get out of that one (without using Tooting)!

Elementary, my dear Quex. I shall call upon the services of Holmes and Watson, and use the Dying Detective maneuver to take us to:

Baker Street

Ah, but you forget the precident set back in '75 by Rathbane Jr. against his father, Rathbane Sr. in the Exhibition match in July, Playing Baker Street on the 7th move, whilst often a good strategy, leaves open an immediate MC if the King Richard Gambit has preceded it less than 5 turns previously, so I say, proudly:
MORNINGTON CRESCENT!

good game, everyone!

Now, considering that Rathbane's cousin's father was Elijah Mayhew, that would normally open up the ability to use the Uncle's Underparry, and just force a jaunt to any station more than MC4 away with a 'u' in it; this would likely follow the Jorgensen/Heine German Finals match the year before last to reach Kilburn.

But, considering that Dollis Hill is just one away under the Gygax Referendum, and Lord knows what happens at Dollis Hill, Ollie just used a Silent Sammy on invoking the All-Day Student Fun Pass, which put him on the Picadilly at Osterley.

And, of course, because we were still in the first five turns of play, and Leicester Square is open on Wednesdays, he wrapped up with the Leicester Square Shimmy, crossed from the Picadilly onto the Northern (paying the toll of any pack of McVities to use the move), and made it to Mornington Crescent before finishing the last biccie, making it all square and legal.

Cunning, if I dare say so myself; never seen so much bravado since those old playreels of Davies against Bolan in the '79 Celebrity Circuit.

My goodness, i didn't think Ollie would spot that weakness in my ploy!

Shall we have another?

MUDCHUTE

Mudchute? MUDCHUTE??!

How dare you start with the station known as "The Graveyard of Champions", without first warning other players that this was to be an "Adults Only" match? And the follow-up with Fivecows only makes it worse - a call like that could take someone's eye out!

For that I will counter with the "Elevated Woodland" coup (used first on Clive of India by Lawrence of Arabia during the Ides of March in the year of Our Lord 1923), and call:

FOREST HILL

(The Mothering Sunday rule does not apply)

Well, now, that calls for the Web of Fear technique, which takes us to:

Tooting Bec

And beware of the Yetis in the loo!

Here comes the Adams Extension: time to utilise the vastly underrated

Fenchurch Street

Ah, a most sagacious move!

However, it is time to counter with the Wimsey-Bunter Sideslip, which takes us to:

Westminster
