DJ!
No, dont stop!
Help us piece this thing together....cause if its going off the air anyway I would be psyched to say we beat it after only four episodes.

Speculation: They need the lottery money to get the hell out of Push?
Because Push is bad....because there were experiments there...which caused...well, Caleb Moore for one. My speculation is he is a sport. No, he didn't play six-man for the Meeps, he's a genetic mutation. The Wrinkle in Time/Camazotz scene...Hi Dad, Hi SPORT!
But that's not the complete picture...what about everybody else? They dont age... they don't die...what is it? They did something to the water maybe, and it caused an entire population to...what? And consequently allow the Versailles to pay them, support them...buy their silence?

C'mon DJ - I'm hot, I'm cold, I'm on to something...I don't know what the hell I'm talking about.
Spoon feed me!
We can figure this out!

not just feeling the pull of Push...yanked right in.

I really wanted to spec that 1984 was the year Dawn of The Dead came out, but sadly, it was 1987. Sad

Were any other notable zombie movies released in 1984?

I think it's the whole Nevada Area 51, ET highway, underground waterways, disappearing civilizations. Check out Rachel, NV....parralels Push maybe.

I don't think they're clones at all....I think they've either been replaced by something else or just plain came to Push that way. Look at Quinny's Junkshop profile....for goodness sake there's mention of air force uniforms and experimental military gliders.

Sloman gave "them" the O.K. (we can see how he clearly runs the town) and they gave the town a financial "boost" and started moving their "people" in.

Deputy Dawn and the suits are from a hush-hush government agency investigating "landings" and "takeovers".

Lotta good observations dj. wish i had the answers!!!

I have a feeling that the deaths in 1984 were Push residents who "didn't get on the bandwagon"

Yeah, they got to be people who resisted the takeover of the town by the Versailles and Watermark. However, if everyone in the town was "replaced" as was specced earlier in this thread, there would be no need for a banner year on deaths. Everyone would have died but with the replacements, no deaths need be reported. I'm still going with the theory that these really are the original, pre 1984 citizens who are somehow being controlled, with the TV or the water being the most obvious methods to go about doing this.
