old starter pack The night before the wave 3 release, I ordered the original starter pack, I was surprised the next day when the new starter pack came out, But I am happy because I got the bigger wallet, the leitmark and 4 packs of cards.
With the voucher it was a great price. It is cheaper than ordering here in the states.
I was also happy in the shipping time to a small town in California, 6 days over a weekend and the strawberry gummy hearts!
Go Firebox!

Trout me if it's already been mentioned (did a quick search and didn't find anything) but this is interesting. The wallet in the original starter pack, or mine at least, doesn't have enough room for all 256 cards (yes, I really have counted ) - and if memory serves, the 24 pages sounds about right to pick up the slack.
Slightly annoying if you have to buy 2 starter packs to get enough space for all the cards

I will check again tonight, but I'm sure the 1st folder has 256 spaces.
The main problem with it seems to be when you try and put 256 cards in it,
the thickness of the cards means that the album has trouble closing.
So the solution some people have suggested is to get two folders
(either from the packs or from Muji),
and this means they fit neatly and enables you to see the maps.

just like to add that when cards are next to each other the map dosent fit together, i think map is set up in wierd ways that make it random(when i say random i meen thier is no exact reason for it being on the back of hat card)

I know that my wallet doesn't have room for 256 -- when I started to put cards in, I went and counted through so they'd all go in the right places. At first I thought I'd just gotten a defective one with missing pages, but it doesn't look like any are missing, and others here have reported too few pages.

I have two starter pack 1 albums
both of them definitely have got 256 spaces.
There are 2 groups of pages stuck to the spine,
Each one has 32 pages,
each page can hold 4 cards (2 on the front, 2 on the back)
4x32x2 = 256
I can't see anything wrong with my maths,
(please correct me if I'm wrong)
I suppose it's possible that some people's pages could be stuck together,
they are quite thin.

I'm wondering if anyone supports the idea of Firebox carring just the folder on it's own? The first version of the starter pack is cool and all but I don't need many more wave 1 cards, got plenty stickers, and have enough Perplex City Transit pamphlets to last a lifetime. To carry a folder that hold 24 is kind of silly. In my eyes if you have a bigger folder one would want to fill it right? I'm sure the smaller folder brought the price down because Mind Candy thought that the price point was pretty steep and I agree. If they can sell individual posters they can do the same with folders. I was just wondering if there's any support of the idea to give credence to my request.
a million thanks,
Brian

Pack V2 I ordered the Starter Pack v1 and got a V2 instead (from firebox) so no leitmark, tiny folder (capacity: 50 cards total), and only 2 packs of cards instead of 4... oh, and no gummy candies javascript:emoticon(' ')
Sad
To make up for this oversight, I ordered a binder with pages from bcwsupplies.com and switched all my ordering over to ThinkGeek (who should get my stuff to me here in the states much faster!)javascript:emoticon(' ')
