Have we tried our pop-icon thesis?

A: Jabba The Hut, from the Star Wars movies (8)

B: Hello Kitty, the lovable Japanese cartoon cat star (8)

Edit as you will; I can only suspect that this was a fun, but incorrect method of trying to get "balanced Earth people", but, then again, I've made bizarrely accurate while blindingly stupid ideas before!

LET 'ER RIP!

What do you think of Perplexian life, from what you know?

Scott, 8 words... Censor... ERROR!
(But, otherwise, all as you said.)

A re-phrasing with 5 words in each scored me an anti-social.
So, this makes me think it has to do with the sum of the words in both.

But, Jabba and Kitty are in vain.

Have you done one of these tests before? Congratulations - you scored 104% You really need to go out and buy a plant. Your barren home is draining the creativity from your psyche. Don't close your eyes. Staring into infinity can only lead to a sense of inadequacy and ultimately insanity.

Your responses to the inkblot test suggest that you do not look beneath the surface of things. You are essentially a credulous person with an underdeveloped sense of perception. Wise up.

Fair enough dude, i want a plant now !

Surely the second inkblot is a hedgehog of some description. You Brits have any iconic hedgehogs? There is that Sonic character but he doesn't look like this. As for the first, behold the Flying Spaghetti Monster and His Noodly Appendage!:

As mentioned before, the second really, really resembles a metroid.

Now now, my joyous revelation might still be wrong.
But, what else do we have for now? Confused

And EvilGenius?

And a stripper factory! Not to mention Fridays off as religious holidays and a certain tolerance for loose morals. Bobby Henderson is truly a prophet! Can I get a RAmen?

From Kurt's blog, Von's answer says that "your combination of answers..."

With luck, this means that if and when we hit the correct set of words in either box, it'll give us a heads-up.

And the first one to me looks like the movie poster for Jaws. Or at least I think I see a great white leaping out of the sea. Of course, it's also wrong. I also kinda see a man in armor with his arms crossed. And, strangely enough, dead center of the picture I see a tiny dog's head. It's cute!

Your responses to the inkblot test suggest that you have antisocial tendencies if not a criminal record. If the authorities are not currently informed of your whereabouts call your local station immediately and give them your address.

But what if I'm not fine?

My answer for that one was "A jumping hedgehog". It has to be really, doesn't it?

Coincidence - I think not.

AND...

Also, as to Scott's analysis - I slightly disagree...

It's based on number of spaces in the two boxes. As follows:

0 - Your responses to the inkblot test suggest that you lack imagination. A trip to a local gallery may help to stimulate your visual senses. Psychotropic drugs may also be of use.

1-4 - Your responses to the inkblot test suggest that you do not look beneath the surface of things. You are essentially a credulous person with an underdeveloped sense of perception. Wise up.

5-8 - Your responses to the inkblot test suggest that you have antisocial tendencies if not a criminal record. If the authorities are not currently informed of your whereabouts call your local station immediately and give them your address.

9 - Your responses to the inkblot test suggest that you are unable to censor your own thoughts. Your stream of consciousness gushes like the rapids of the Mazy River and anybody entering into conversation with you is likely to drown. There are a number of excellent cognitive therapists in Perplex City who may be able to help you overcome your problem. I am not one of them.

Your personal assessment

Have you been taking Ceretin? You really need to go out and buy a plant. Your barren home is draining the creativity from your psyche. Your attitude to buttering toast indicates a desire for perfection and success in all things - no matter what the personal cost. Not only will this approach inevitably lead to a crisis should success elude you but it will also condemn you to a lifetime of cold toast.

Hey, when did they post this new test? Anybody submit anything yet?

Quote:
ABOUT THE STUDY

Welcome back! Thanks so much for your help with the first test. Or if you haven't taken it yet, please spend a few minutes filling it in here before you begin.

You don't need to have taken part in the first test to enjoy this next phase, but it would be really useful to build up a full set of data for each individual. Of course, your identity won't be revealed when the results are published. I'll just need to ask your name (or screen name) so I can match up your test data from each phase.

Don't worry, I'll keep all your personal information private but you can find out more in my privacy policy.

Thanks for your help!

Oistin S. Meade
ABOUT THIS TEST

This phase of the study is designed to examine your conceptualization skills - your ability to synthesize abstract concepts and translate them into visual images.

I will offer a selection of concepts for you to portray. You must choose one.

You must then illustrate your choice in whatever form you feel appropriate. The only requirement is that the end result can be uploaded digitally to this site - so if you create a sculpture or a painting, I would ask you to upload a digital photo of it.
OTHER PEOPLE'S SUBMISSIONS

The Concepts

Please select one of the following concepts as the basis of your creative work:

A) What is it like to be a citizen of Earth?

B) The meaning of life.

C) Do people on Earth have souls?

D) A mind in torment

E) The wind beneath my wings

F) The feeling you get at half past two on a winter's afternoon when your lunch seems like a distant memory, but it's still nearly an hour until your next designated snack time.

G) The collective unconscious

H) TJ Hooker
