looks argy but I don't have time to look at it in detail right now. There are some secure areas and something to do with deployment. It says Project Z-Theta9 is now deployed. Leads me to think it isn't a company. If it is it's pritty messed up.

www.eon2.com comes up with a pretty... "dodgy", uh, website.
www.eon5.com is kinda weird and mildly scares me.
Wonder if they're related? Especially www.eon5.com. I'm really not sure what to think about www.eon2.com.
Can't do a WhoIs right now since there are too many requests apparently.
In any case, the Deployment Log must've popped up yesterday or the day before that. I was linked to this site a few days ago and it wasn't there.

View source to see plainly
var launch=new Date('00:00:00 July 01, 2006');
which is midnight June 30th, server time, which I believe appears to be East Coast USA. (EDT Daylight Savings Time Zone)

That's annoying. It's obviously hex but it makes no sense. The two numbers in the "Deployment Logs" as well.
ETA: There's different hex on the countdown page as well. Grumble!

ETAA: Oh *I* see, it changes. Hrm. Well, I captured 11 different codes, hopefully this will be helpful. I'm going home. =]

I'm not brave enough to access any of the certificated pages, But I'd expect the hex to be an encryption key.

I tried one of the certificated pages, and it was just a popup asking me for a username and password.
Also, doing a preliminary search on google, you get this link that mentions the email address securitySPLATeon8.com although I don't see where that email address is located, maybe I'm blind?
Maybe it's worth a shot emailing it for more information.

eon5 does somehow completely unnerve me and is seriously creepy. I keep expecting something to run out of the darkness towards me.

I looked at the WHOIS for eon8.com and it only shows it registered to Domains by Proxy, Inc.
It was registered through Godaddy.com. I've used them before, and Domains by Proxy, Inc. is what shows when you register a domain and choose to keep yourself unlisted on a WHOIS search. Whoever owns it doesn't want people to know who he/she is.

Was going to mention the securitySPLAT eon8.com earlier, as it is included in the certificate properties, but thought, "What would we do with it?".
Do we want to TELL the person tasked with keeping unauthorized people out of the site what we are up to?
Oh, and did the deployment tracker happen to add a dot to it's map representing your general geographic location? Mwahaha.

I have a feeling the code at the bottom of the page doesn't mean much, as just refreshing the page gives you a different code.
Edit: Ok maybe it does mean something as the codes do appear to repeat
Edit again: Nope, I was right, they never repeat, though there appear to be a limited number of beginnings to the code, maybe a timestamp encrypted in a limited number of ways?

Some of the strings on the Deployment Log page are in slightly different colors. If you view the source, you'll see. Here's what I saw when I looked:
Code:
</center><ol><li style='color:#CCCCCC;font-weight:bold;'>35E1E0B79EB7B7A48B70708129608EE799B60BB28479F57DCBE9E3F52E74C076</li><li style='color:#FFFFFF;font-weight:bold;'>CA98B351094F8C86A55ED9B0FE5058DBAB31BC8377F8B06B6231465B0A5F19A4</li><li style='color:#CCCCCC;font-weight:bold;'>3904C6965B87B1BF240F2092F5CB56392FAF84A13C2758736DB25B2B7EA151F7</li><li style='color:#FFFFFF;font-weight:bold;'>F1BAD06A77F5C86B00C0DD63FD2824051ED3B2D2329BDE658450225972681E92</li><li style='color:#FFFFFF;font-weight:bold;'>E84022CC213340BC8C0743386538E896955709406308DED29662DA4A92B388E9</li><li style='color:#CCCCCC;font-weight:bold;'>8F5093A71F16036128140B9201B447FDEE9F527CF81AB6DD8B32E56B9F4F8DF5</li><li style='color:#FFFFFF;font-weight:bold;'>AF5F05F5B389E48AD391BEB92C30A082E7FF8CA1BD2412DA0583AC2E055CA2AC</li><li style='color:#FFFFFF;font-weight:bold;'>D0458BBAEBC5E3F761C372EB6807E10D3A148C6CFB5DE176AAC07E69853DB673</li><li style='color:#CCCCCC;font-weight:bold;'>2976FAFA1A9585A1CB60427BA98DF1DFBCD3625A15292D20A3BFE1ECA402B4F7</li><li style='color:#CCCCCC;font-weight:bold;'>59FC375226A6FE88AF42E710DD66CEACC2721AE72C54CCE4880244F3A1684774</li><li style='color:#CCCCCC;font-weight:bold;'>203916560C54FA810452DBF02DB119DA685606EF0663A89EF1CBD8A7C70F3C19</li></ol>

Two different colors, represented by the #FFFFFF and #CCCCCC
edit: fixed scrollie - rowan
EDIT: I did some Googlewhackin' and found this site that also found Eon8. If you visite Eon8 via the link in their thread, this comes up on the front page
