[REQUEST] Arkn Mythos Subforum

Hate to bump this, but with series like SMILEWITHME and -HOOH-: [EVERYBODY SCREAMS IN THE DARK] being included in this universe of multiple other stories, I feel likea subforum would be very beneficial and helpful with some of the mysteries and ARG elements.

I'd suggest not giving a subforum to the people who delete any and all stories and references to stories written by people who have left from their canon that is most certainly not a mythos, but whatever.

While I do have distaste for how the Arkn "Mythos" is set up, I agree that we do need a separate subforum for stories that exist within another mythos or verse, such as the Fear Mythos, which has several ARGs such as most of the Architect Verse, The Undecided Five and the infamous Nine Is God.

I would think a place where Arkn Mythos and Fear Mythos stories can be posted without having to be labeled as "just more Slender Man stories" would be a great idea. Perhaps it could go under the banner "Other Internet Mythoi"?

What Michael said. An "Other Internet Mythoi" section sounds fantastic. Although I don't think the Arkn community is big enough to warrant its own subforum, I agree that it needs to be separate from the Slender Man forum.

There is more than enough current and upcoming ARG content to warrent an Arkn subforum

Sorry, it's just that you're not brainstorming like I am to make a more organized Unforum. Otherwise, I'd request a Fear Mythos subforum. You're just trying to get more publicity.

As an update, I've asked around the community and we have a large grouping of people willing to help contribute and work with a possible Arkn subforum, along with close to 4K players on the HooH channel, and a couple hundred on Handprints, there would be a decent community using it!

We've started up polls on a few social media sites to judge interest and so far it is going well, so hopefully we can get a good following behind this!

Not sure how much extra weight my word carries, but for what it's worth, I see both sides of it. On the one hand, separating it out probably isn't worth the trouble, especially because we've already got a forum dedicated solely to a series that is 100% over, and another dedicated to a legion of other series that, shock and awe, is pretty much dead at this point. Sure, there's some activity, but frankly, proper thread tagging should clear up any confusion fairly quickly.

That said? I do want the non-Slender Man stuff the hell out of my forum.

So, if you want work that does not, or features very little of, the Slender Man out of the Slender Man Mythos subforum, I say an "Other Mythoi" subforum is a great option. Fear Mythos, Arknverse, SCP Foundation, Holders Series, and maybe even Lovecraft ARGs and webseries' could be posted in said forum.
