Last I knew Holland wasn't part of the UK, so I think you're a wee bit out. Also if you read above you may pick up that it's not Gaelic.
EDIT - the anagram is confirmed as there's a bit of code of the email too. Not getting anywhere with it though.

I got a player ID as well. Can anyone help me find out if there's something hidden in an image?

Holland was my first guess too, so i emailed and asked. The reply was:
In answer to your question, and as my site says, I am in the UK.
PS. I like windmills.
and I got a shiny new player ID....what do i do with it?
/me goes back to scouring the page.

He is happy to answer emails, not been any help though... his last comment was:

BTW - check all of your emails.
BTW - nice to be playing together again Hy.

I only got one email from him and it only repeated the I like windmill thing....is that supposed to be my personal puzzle? I'm stumped already. There are a trillion windmills in the UK.

my email had code at the bottom, but just gave the same phrase. I've tried a couple of de-steggers on the pic on the site, but not got anywhere

Quote:
Good to speak with you......
I like all kinds of windmills from the brightly coloured pinwheels that children have on the beach to industrial wind farms.
Good Luck

I didn't get a code in my email, just a cryptic sentence. Also, the site seems to be updated now.

Shame you didn't read the WELCOME! message that states:

Next point, once you've posted your initial clue, stop posting about it. I look the other way for trailhead posts, even though they're about as clichéd as a launch can get (along with spamming your trailhead to random members of the community), but I won't look the other way if you keep coming back.
Not only a clichéd launch, but a PM who wants to denigrate his player base.
You know, after that little comment from the PM, I really don't think I want to find said PM, or his/her game.
Admins, I know that this needs to stay open for those who want to play, but can you shut up the chatty PM?
Never mind. It isn't worth the time it would take to identify his/her IP address.

Actually, I think the mods permitted the PM secondary post.
The thread was locked, and I can only assume that the PM has talked to the moderators about the reality of this being an ARG and not a scam. After realizing this was authentic, the mods reopened the thread. His post was the first after the unlock, and I took it as a symbol of a rebirth.
And with a rebirth, comes a re-first post. At least, how I percieved it.

Actually what occured was that, because of the first topic being locked, the PM created a second thread entitled "Cynicism" with the second post that you see in this thread.
The mods simply moved the second thread over to the first after unlocking it.
I was on this afternoon as saw it, that's how I know.

The site has changed slightly, and there's been another email out. There is a couple of pointers/clues towards Stan Ridgway, although I haven't yet trawled throiugh his lyrics to see if there is anything about windmills.

if anyone is running with the whole gaelic thing, its scotland or northern ireland if you are letting that guide you. only places variants are spoken in the uk.
also you might consider the isle of man, while not a part of the uk, it is a crown dependancy and is surrounded by the uk. long shot but still, i saw people mentioning ireland and thats definatly not a uk territory.
