Joop's Box

The text box at Joop's hand keeps all entries you have made. Sellect the box and hit backspace. Enter executes a line feed.

Which would follow, if we could trust anything FauxHenry said. He's an Other, he's lying through his teeth. It's what they do! Very Happy

I E-mailed Hugh McIntyre on Wednesday at 7:31pm (GMT)... As yet no respeonse... of course this could be because I possed as a TV researcher looking to do a piece on the Hanso Foundation and it's many projects... Just thought I'd let you know that for the moment Hugh doesn't seem to be checking his In-box.

I went for the threatening approach, telling him I knew about the Zanzibar incident... No reply either.

I was thinking that maybe the floating text box in Joop's Corner might be linked to the missing "contact us" page link that was previously mentioned... No Idea how it might work but if you consider Joop to be an arrow it would either seem he's pointing from the text box to the link menu or vice versa. Is it possible to create or code the link in that box??? just wondering. Seeing as I ain't got a clue.

One other thing I've noticed... It seems to me that the disturbances they refere to in the May 6th press release is Persephones hacking of their site. Just a thought.

This may have already been said, but...

On the Hanso site, I noticed something strange when you click the Mathematical Forcasting Initiative (under Active Projects)

The top box is titled Copenhagen, Denmark, Friday 1/05/06...and then a paragraph.

There are 3 or 4 words that have been "whited out" or marked through. It seems they are names of a African nation and it's capital??? There is some of the lettering showing.

Thoughts?

Log in at THF.org May 6 This is safe for now

I'm just trying to keep a running tab of things we haven't figured out yet, hopefully to make seeing connections easier.

Probably not very important, just something I noticed.

On the hansofoundation page the photograph of Alvar Hanso is dated "October 28, 2003", but in the 3rd Lost episode of this season the same photograph is used in the film that Locke and Michael watch about the Dharma Corporation.
However at the end of the film it states "The Hanso Foundation, 1980. All Rights Reserved".

Obviously the Hanso page is lying about the photograph.

Or it's a mistake.

Ok, that makes sense. I couldn't figure out where the 6th came from, either.

Regarding the Hanso photograph: The film could be a lot newer than the viewers think...

I've said this before and kind of got shot down. But, the press release has dates everywhere of the 5th of May, except at the header of the note-which is May 6. The .pdf is labeled 05_05_06, even though the date they have is May 6. I'll probably get shot down again, because it is the 6th in Australia, but it really is bothering me.

Alright ya'll, I just found this site.

I come from the movie forum Rotten Tomatoes, where Wednesday Night/Thursday morning me and a few other guys found everything that there was to find. So, that's my background, and I'm humbled to join up with you guys.

I'm awaiting an Email from Hugh McIntyre (I asked why Irene hadn't given me the Widmore Hotline number yet and if he could put me in touch with her) or a phone call, as I gave him my number.

And, as I understand that ASCII code that at midnight we should expect an update of sorts.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Hugh's password was Irene.

Just wanted to suggest that people might want to use spoiler tags when discussing things that have happened in the show. The folks in the UK and Australia aren't at the same point in the season as the people in the US. Let's not ruin anything, k?
