First post here so hello all. Got curious about the ads during the screening of Lost so thought I'd follow the trail.

Please call trout if necessary, but once you have been through the loop at Joops Corner, the text next to his picture appears to have some 'washed out' text over it. I can't make it out but perhaps this is the word that needs to be entered in the text box next to Joop's hand (top left)?

Nice. If you print it, an image of scary gorilla man (the guy from the MHA page) appears, obscuring the text.

He's definitely important in some way - that's 2 pages his photo is hidden on.

The picture of the doctor from the Mental Health bit is still there if you print the page with the text on, could it be that?

EDIT: I wasn't fast enough there.

Trout
Try right clicking and printing the screen. It's the image from the MHA page of the doctor.

Ah, damn!

Oh, wait...so it's not strictly trout then if this guy's picture is hidden twice in Joop's corner: Once interlaced with Joop's image and the 'scribbles', and then again where I have just pointed it out?

So who the hell is this guy??

I think "About the MFI" is just the main page - if you look at the other active projects there is a similar "About"-link on every project page...

WILD speculation here but on the Hanso Mission Statement page, at the bottom we have all the project logos, and beneath that they are listed, as if for copyright purposes. However the MHA doesn't appear on said list. Not sure about the significance of that but is it possible that the letters in the logo's make up an anagram?

Perhaps the significance is that the MHA should not be used in the solving of the anagram??

Way off topic here but i just noticed something: is it just me or is the off-screen voice in the tv ad one of the two LOST executives doing the official ABC podcasts? (Damon Lindelof or Carlton Cuse)?

Sorry but i just noticed it going back to thehansofoundation.org for the 50th time today Smile...

Also, that has to be Carlton Cuse doing the voiceover

www.garytroup.net (From the US thread)

Takes you to another book called 'The Valenzetti Equation'.

Googling this brings you:
http://www.valenzettifoundation.org/index.html

Could be unrelated but the link to 'Life Extension' makes me think not...

EDIT: Ok, definitely related. The sponsors page mentions Widmore and a Global paradigms Corp, who mention as one of their clients, none other than...Hanso Foundation!

This is awesome.

Hello everyone, just logging on and catching up.

Glad its slowed down a little here - watched the show, decided it was midnight and I had to be up at 6, so went to bed and didn't phone until 8am - and the line was already closed!

Work permitting I'll try to get ahead on this instead of lagging behind!

Hmm.. I looked up Mr. Gavin Doughtie through his website.. he doesn't seem to be an in-game character, never references this site or LOST as far as I can tell.

Not sure if garytroup.net is part of the ARG though..it's not really stealth enough - on the bottom of the page it says that "the author itself is a fictional character" and the Terms of Use link back to a disney site.

I'm kinda new to this but is seems a bit too "unreal" for an ARG doesn't it?
