Taking a moment to think about things

I have been thinking again about the mailed items and that Don wants them. Might they be a way of trapping the Wish? I can see why they would want that, but if Sarah sent the items why would she want to trap the Wish? To take him out of circulation?

Sarah signed her note SW, grey wethwers signs as GW, are they related?

I think by having the disk we are now in power. Should we use this to make the in-gammers explain what they want to do with it and decide who we want to have it?
I think it's an opportunity to take some control of the game. The same goes with the mailed items. If we are participants of the outcome, shouldn't we do so less blindly than we have been moving along so far? We don't want to make a mistake of the rank of Dale's. Maybe the disk doesn't belong in man's hands, nor in the hands of the guides or grey wethers or even Sarah. If the fairies made it, maybe we should return it to them and Dale just needs to cope with the deaths of his family and Sarah
will just have to go on being whatever she is and leave Meagan at peace.

Any thoughts?

Not to take him out of circlulation but perhaps to get "their" wish?

Anything is possible. Sarah's background is a bit fuzzy around the edges.

Who gets the final decision? There are how may hundreds playing? On how many forums?

So you think this gives us control? It would not surprise me if the housewight of Aglaura paid a visit one night and took all the items back. It "could" happen. If you think you can take an object and use it to "blackmail" an archetype of "mafioso" into giving you answers, be my guest... Then again they could always lie about their true reasons, those of the Goodfolk have a way with ... shall we say, redirecting your attention in a direction that is opposite of the way you want to go, all with very truthful information that is misinterpreted. Better to wait for the rest of the information. Patience is a virtue.

I don't see that Dale made as big a mistake as you imply. Is his life a mess currently, yes, but then it was a mess even before the wish. The Wish itself was not the mistake. The mistake was made some time before.
Besides, everyone makes mistakes, big ones, little ones, ones that snowball, ones that melt away into nothing, ones that are nothing more than hot air, ones that are smoke and mirrors... You make your mistakes, it is how you deal with them afterwards that determines how good or bad [relatively speaking] the result you get can be.

Who would decide on who gets the disc? Well ultimately I would guess the person holding the disk decides. By putting things into the real world the PM's are taking the chance that we will think for ourselves and behave in a fashion they don't plan. Probably makes the game more interesting for them as well.

How would the characters react to a mutiny? Dale is being watched by the DEG's and the Don. More than a few players wonder if Dale will do the right thing and at this moment I don't know if I know what the right thing is.

I am only suggesting that we think about things and if we come to a concensus that the holder agrees with, why not take the power ?

Do we really want Meaghan living the grey, ghostly life Sarah seems to want to pass to her? What movivates the guides, DEGs, the Don, GW? Seems the disk wasn't theirs to start.

Should we be apart of capturing the Wish without knowing what the captors want? There are those who only want magic for themselves and those who want no magic to be available to man. A world without magic would be sad.

As I said, just thinking...

[SPEC] Disk / Phyllis Wittingham connection

I'm waiting to see what more Phyliis e-mails out about her lucid dreams - they seem involved as well, if only to act as a "guide" to "the bigger picture."

Oh, and I am sorry if I sounded a bit short in my last post here - I was up reading and commenting way way too late last night.
