I'm pretty sure http://www.petitiononline.com/LostRach/petition.html isn't an official anything.

PetitionOnline is a public site; anyone can put anything there. As for the content, it CANNOT be in-game -- neither fan-made nor official -- because it is breaking the fourth wall by claiming that Rachel isn't real, that she is played by an actress. Dude, how Out-of-Game can you get?

Catherwood, Zachsmind2 was the one who created the petition. He's trolling for sigs.

I'm going to go out and say that's probably OOG, considering that that character doesn't exist in the game reality, and the entire thing is pretty much a HUGE Season 2 finale spoiler.

(moderator bolding that warning for viewers who do NOT want to read about the Season Two finale -- catherwood)

I recommend that UK and Aussie viewers of the television show do NOT look at that blog, as it spoils the season finale.

It is out-of-game, being about the TV show and not TLE, and it is a faked fan-made blog, trying to treat the TV show events as if it were a documentary of events in TLE universe.

And if that isn't enough to set off your suspicion-meters, here is an email exchange with Speaker:

I think it's a hoax.

btw, I grabbed this from the Yahoo! Group "LostGame · The Namastae" which you can join to read their mailing list.

I've seen mention on other forums of www.hansoexposed.com but I can't find anything about it here. Apparently it's from the same server as some official sites, but I don't know how to check that. It is requiring a login and password right now. I'm not sure how this address was found. Anyone know if this is legit?

It's legit.

I found it by doing a reverse lookup on the THF.org IP address. There's five sites on that server.

thehansofoundation.org
hansoexposed.com
letyourcompassguideyou.com
rachelblake.com
valenzettiequation.com

BTW... I wasn't the first to find it. A few others got it by doing the same thing.

widmore blog

Thanks for exposing that as a hoax/ out of game: it's getting more and more confusing what is and isn't 'lost reality' storywise, especially as the experience and show seem somewhat unconnected (which I guess will be so til we know it all)

Fun joining up the dots tho as you have to find them and verify them first!

bad day for dead ends

Had a really bad day of dead ends (2 videos that turned out to be fakes on YouTube) but managed to find all the Rachel Blake vids there.

Another site and linked page have just been mentioned on Channel 4's microsite, submitted by readers but nevertheless referenced by its official blogger:

http://www.hansoadoptions.org
and
http://artemis.hansoadoptions.org

Did a whois on these and couldn't get any info partly due to the changeover to PIR for whois .org details and partly because it's privacy protected

I'm thinking OOG but then they do tie in cleverly with the whole Dharma philosophy thing, Artemis is Apollo's TWIN sister (mythology tie in) and the site could also be in-game at a push.

If it is genuine it gives the letters o and x in red amongst the text which could be part of a password clue (unless it isn't and they link to the code for the oog Dharma Initiative website or one of the other oog sites)

Verdict: ?: oog, remote chance that in-game

Anyone any ideas?

I saw one of the red letters, and I'll make the assumption that it's the same case with the other, and that's that these red letters were among the text from responses sent in from clients. I figured that the site was merely correcting typos by using them. But then again, if there is something that supposed to be a clue, that's about as good as it gets. I couldn't find anything that remotely seems like any kind of clue there.

hits and misses

Reply to channel 4 site has confirmed hanso adoptions as a fake / oog

However, two ingames (both advertising based unfortunately):

http://www.channel4.com/thisisaknife (definitely in game as Rachel Blake clue there which has been verified)

Coke's site seems to have been ingame [possibly by default when sublymonal was down]: both have at different times been linked from the same place in Rachel Blake's posts HOWEVER
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
there was (and currently still is) something funny about the letters in the links there that seems too unprofessional as far as Coke's website proofreading goes to not be ingame???
Discussion on other sites reached a consensus of maybe it is maybe it isn't (with many people commenting on the wellness pages sounding suspiciously Hanso-esque). Letters DO make a potentially relevant anagram.

http://www.coca-cola.com/

Ironic, seeing as they ARE the man!

coke site

seems oog as not linked on rach's recent catch up, then again I don't think all the ingame sites are, but as the hidden anagram did seem relevant, it gave (nothing amazing)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
'gb to paris' - rachel was in paris at the time

so was just linked when sublymonal was down/not ready, perhaps the anagram was also there as a filler?

the coke thing

it's still there, could it be a yet to be active code for the video fragments?

fragments thing even more frustrating than the in/ out of game dilemma: not got ONE of them yet without having to check what other people have found ie cheat!!

Noticed a new fan-made site showed up in a spoofed email today (NOT from Monster.com or HansoCareers)

www.lambdaiotaepsilon.com 72.22.69.200

Hosted on the same server bank as other previously-identified fan-made sites:
www.whereisalvarhanso.com 72.22.69.200
www.paikheavyindustries.com 72.22.69.247

For reference, notice that our real ingame site is
www.whereisalvar.com 64.207.133.244

I'll add this to the top post later when i log in from home.
