Wei-Hwa's Puzzle Challenges

Now that the 'Da Vinci Code Web Quest' is over, I assumed the link on my Google Homepage would just disappear. But, apparently, the creator of said Quest got a lot of good response to the puzzles, so he is creating a series of puzzles that will update on random intervals.

The puzzles are really just little timewasters that will only take a minute or two to complete, nothing too far out for the UFers.

Here's the first puzzle:

Using the numbers 3, 3, 8, 8 (in any order), make a mathematical expression that equals 24. You can use only addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (and parentheses), but in any order you wish. Note that you have to use all four numbers; otherwise 3 times 8 would be valid -- and that wouldn't be much of a puzzle, would it?

As far as I know, the only way to access these puzzles is from the Google Homepage.. From there, you can edit your preferences to add this puzzle challenge to the features on your homepage, along with some other goodies. You'll need a Google account, though.
