I'm Nogwater.

I played Majestic and Urban Hunt from start to finish and have dabbled in a few other ARGs (mostly Perplex City).

I watched part of the Lost pilot and thought it looked like it was going to be some stupid prime time soap opera with beautiful people stranded on an island, so I stopped watching about half way through that first episode. It wasn't until last summer when a friend sent me to the old Hanso site that I got excited about the show. I spent a week or so catching up and have been glued to the show ever since.

I'll probably just lurk on this since I'm so busy at work, but if I'm able to contribute I'll sure try!

I'm AltaModa, you can call me Alta Razz
I played S+S all the way through and played bits of WIBS, LCP and FA.

I love Lost and ARGs so I'm very excited!

Hmm, where to begin... Well, I only recently discovered the joys of ARGs, but I tend to have far too much free time on my hands, and so I have thorughly studied the Channel 51(Metroid Prime 2: Echoes) ARG, and of course, watch Lost(started with the season 1 DVDs last year, and so I have had to record Season 2 until the repeats start. Therefore, I haven't seen Season 2 at all, other than what The Soup and Best Week Ever has shown in an episode), and have a good eye for detail:

For example, did anyone notice that in some episodes back from Season 1, that in the scene right after it rained, absolutely all the vegetation was completely dry, as if it never rained at all? Or in the first episode, that the segment when the guy gets sucked into the still-spinning jet engine can't physically happen, since the fuel used in that sort of airplane doesn't have the capability to make an explosion, let alone keep running fast enough to suck the person in? I even noticed the exact brand and model of pen one of the extras was using in an episode(and, I also have that same model in my desk). On an unrelated, detail-related note, I also attempeted to get that free KFC coupon in their commercial, when they flashed instructions for getting one in a single frame. I got the password(buffalo, in case you're wondering), but they were out of coupons.

Yeah, I tend to ramble a bit too much.

Hi all. I'm a fan of the ARG experience, but this will only be the second one I'm really involved in, the first being Ilovebees. Hopefully I can be of more use now than I was then Laughing I learned a lot about ARGs from that experience, and I'm a big fan of Lost, so I'm interested to see where this thing goes.

Hi all, Lyria here. I'm a relative newbie - played Last Call Poker, lurked a bit on the boards here, read the Cloudmakers archive of the Beast - and am looking forward to probably not solving anything with Lost! (LOL) Been watching Lost since the first episode and last summer kept wishing a real ARG would open up out of the sites that existed... in fact, looking up the fan-made sites (so disappointed that they weren't official!) is how I found Unforums in the first place! Smile

Hi everybody - tmerch here. This is my first ARG, so please bear with me! Like Lydia, I don't anticipate having the prowess to solve much of anything in the game, but I'm sure I'll enjoy the ride nonetheless. I'm crazy about Lost, so maybe all the useless information I picked up through the last two seasons will be helpful somehow!

I followed the unfolding of all the fansites last season via TelevisionWithoutPity.com, and when I saw this had begun, I was instantly hooked!

Mama Moomin here, this is my first ARG so I don't expect to contribute much, but I'm relieved that there's a few first-timers here with me.

hello!

I've been on the internet, mostly in a working capcity since '84 and I'm chagrined to say I had no clue ARG's existed! I ran into this site by accident while googling after a friend pointed me to thehansonfoundation.org. I'm proud to say that I found a lot of stuff BEFORE finding it in posts here, unfortunately they were already posted here so I haven't been able to input yet. hehe

Hi

I'm an old time Cloudmaker, I was there when #evanchan opened and lost many many hours of sleep because of it (damm you Microsoft!!), and followed with interest the following attempts but could never sacrifice the time again.

This looks like it could be fun...

Ardaniel here, 30 years old, female, played in the Beast and lurked ILB.

I'm really trying not to admit that I'm playing this one. I don't watch Lost and I don't really have time. But, you know, staticky Flash movies with sudden frightening noises are just so appealing...

hey, huge lost fan. played ILB (spent way too many hours answering payphones...but got to be featured on G4 tv on their segment about ILB). even made it up to San Fransisco and got to hang out with "mellisa" and meet some of you.

AKA Major Sena

won't be too active for the next two weeks (finals and graduation) but hopefully the game will continue long past that. Look foward to helping out where I can!

Hi. Sidey here. Huge Lost fan, with a bit of experience of Art of the Heist and Perplexcity (till I got bored of it). I reckon Joop ate Alvar ...
