[UPDATE] Sublymonal updated (May 25th)

Updates at

http://www.sublymonal.com/

The site has become even more of a Sprite advertistment, however, there are a couple of interesting things.

First of all, in the source code:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
<!--Look on the plane. Namaste. P-->

Secondly, there is a textbox in the middle of the screen. Entering the words which flash up in green takes you to various Sprite related screens.

However, it becomes more interesting if you try typing "Persephone". Seems like she's giving us a clue - not sure what though...

If you look at the new images on the screens....
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
One of them shows the tail of a plane. Looks like it says 108. The plane might only show up after you type in persephone in the code box.

I don't know how fair this is in terms of game play, but the way they code the flash frontend is kind of poor. You can see all of the flash files.

OK yeah step by step spoiler for the new sublymonal page.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Enter persephone in the code box, then enter 108 in the code box to get the DJ Dan broadcast. It talks about college students working on electromagnetic weapons and connections between Widmore and Hanso. This appears to be the new DJ Dan podcast scheduled for tomorrow.

Sound Spoiler:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Wide Link

They use this hidden to use text to speach, so I was able to copy and paste what she was saying after you type Persephone.

-----------------

In the Olympian pantheon, Persephone is given a father: according to Hesiod\'s Theogony, Persephone was the daughter produced by the union of Zeus and Demeter.

<!Look on the plane.Namaste.P.>

"And he [Zeus] came to the bed of bountiful Demeter, who bore white-armed Persephone, stolen by Hades from her mother\'s side\". Unlike every other offspring of an Olympian pairing, Persephone has no stable position at Olympus. Persephone used to live far away from the other gods, a goddess within Nature before the days of planting seeds and nurturing plants. In the Olympian telling the gods Hermes, Ares, Apollon and Hephaistos, had all wooed Persephone, but Demeter rejected all their gifts and hid her daughter away from the company of the gods. Thus, Persephone lived a peaceful life before she became the goddess of the underworld, which, according to Olympian mythographers, did not occur until Hades abducted her and brought her into the underworld. She was innocently picking flowers with some nymphs?and Athena and Artemis, the Homeric hymn says?, or Leucippe, or Oceanids? in a field in Enna when he came, bursting up through a cleft in the earth; the nymphs were changed by Demeter into the Sirens for not having interfered. Life came to a standstill as the devastated Demeter (goddess of the Earth) searched everywhere for her lost daughter. Helios, the sun, who sees everything, eventually told her what had happened.

More info below

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

After you type Persephone into the text box, there is a brief flash of an image of a plane (explaining her comment in the source code). Someone on another forum tracked the image down:

http://sublymonal.com/gi/persephone.jpg

And thus, you get the number 108, which leads to a DJ Dan audio clip

Dunno if anyone saw these links yet, but I thought they were funny.

WIDE link to eBay item one

WIDE link to eBay item two

(long URLs need to be put behind BBCode tags, to keep the forums from being wider than my screen -- catherwood)

Whoever designed those shoes should be fired, or sent to live on the island.

Ok, I made a list of all the code results.

http://whataboutpp.com/lost/sublymonal/results.html

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
They do seem to play on YouTube and this message: W-h-e-n t-h-i-n-g-s s-l-o-w d-o-w-n y-o-u s-e-e m-o-r-e.

Maybe a little farfetched but could we possibly rearrange these letters? Why would they dash them like that.

Has anyone tried to go through the video frame by frame to see if anything comes up when you "slow things down?"

I think that's referring to if you watch the videos frame by frame you can see the different sublymonal messages that you have to submit (for example, in one of the videos "code:whatthe" and "code:bentley" flash up)

Dont know if this says anything, though. it looks like there's writing on it, but I can't tell
