You can type anything into the newsletter after you've done it the very first time you type in breaking strain.
It's not trout to help someone with their problems althought it was explained previously. Also, if you're going to trout someone, common courtesy is to provide a link to the post where you can find the duplicate info.
Also, Welcome!

I supppppppppppppose it's not trout if you say the whole "help with problems thing" but it is just a shade misleading.
I'll learn.
And, hey, thanks. Good to be here.

Here's a screen cap of the woman in the door. The smaller resolution image you get if you click on the one displayed has less distortion.

Here's a better capture with something i think may be of importance to the left of her.
Warning: Show spoiler included in spoiler below (season 1):

Notice the wheelchair, could that have anything to do with Locke?

I was kind of thinking something along the same lines:
She seems to be in some kind of hospital. Perhaps a mental hospital?
Warning: Show spoiler included in spoiler below (late season 2):
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
As we know, Hugo and Libby were both in a mental hospital

As was Locke's mother, and Leonard Simms. Those of you who are not Losties may want to check lostpedia.com for "Santa Rosa Mental Health Institute" to catch up on this part of the show plot. I'm finding it helpful, since I don't watch the show.
We already know that the Hanso Foundation has a vested interest in mental hospitals, too.
What's bugging me right now is the alphabetization on that Caltech... whatever it is (it doesn't seem like a real tuition bill, or an alumni listing either). By first name isn't a great way to keep track of things. Anyone got any ideas? I don't think there's a puzzle there, but I'd hate to miss a puzzle by dismissing something that sticks out as weird.

Ok have just caught up on this new bit and have to say that the girl TOTALLY freaked me out!! Am home by myself and had a big dark window behind me - had to go close the blind lol.
The transcript confused me a bit - although I assume persephone is referring to mittlewerk - the transcript didn't seem to relate particularly to him? had other random names on it? Also i noticed the word balance was spelt wrong (ballance) - probably insignificant but as someone said above, might as well point out something if it sticks out.
as for that hidden writing above (in the bluey staticcy stuff), to me it looks like it has two o's in it, but not sure.

Well, it wouldn't be the first possible reference to that person...

The "missing organs" clue. Locke is rather bitter about the fact that he's missing an organ, specifically his kidney

That's exactly the reason I didn't want to check until this morning, so there were no dark windows near me
About the mental health mention - I reckon she's said something about Alvar in the past, and she was put in there to ;keep her quiet' as it were. Granted, this is just a hypothesis, and it's based on...well...my creativity? :p

Regarding the red and blue patches with words underneath - I had a look at 15 past and saw them, but when I showed my son at 42 past there was only one big red patch. I've now got to wait to see it again, anyone want to check it out too, just to make sure I wasn't seeing things? (And yeah, you guessed it, I didn't take a screenie...)

"heir apparent"
Is that supposed to be some kind of anagram aswell?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Like "hint reappear"? Or "repent pariah?".
Or am I just reading too much into this?
