 		I just got this email from Sue:

rude, but Charles said I'd probably never meet any of you.

I'm really stressed right now, so if you are a joke, please just get
your laughs and be done. But if you are for real... please tell me
what you think has happened to Charles.

I'm not sure how I can prove that i'm from the faceless studio, but to show you I trust you I'll gives you as much information about his current situation and my connection to it as possible.

Recently I was recruited by the faceless studio (I know them as Studio Cypher, or 'the cyphers') to help them out in their search for the Weird to stop the truth of the weird things in the world from dissapearing. I wasn't the only one recruited, you may be contacted by some other people.

Our main contact in the cyphers (Kevin) told us he had recently came across a list of associates of the cyphers and he took it upon himself to try to make contact with them to make sure they were all ok. Charles was on this list and Kevin went looking for him but couldn't find him. The new recruites were tasked with helping find Chares.

Just yesterday I received a postcard in the mail from Charles with some clues that lead me to his website, and the message from him to you, and thus to your blog.

We are still trying to fully understand the messages he left on his website but they surely as anything lead straight to you, so in my best estimate he wanted us to contact you and either help you, or have you help us find him.

He left what may be a shopping list of items he needed before he left, do any of these items give you a clue as to where he might have gone?

3 large goats: alive
A handful of fulgurite shards
Ink made from a lightning struck tree.
Poppy seeds to keep the old ones busy
A silver cross, just in case
Staff cut from a fossilized tree

Another message he left:

PERHAPS IT IS NOT TIME FOR ME TO RETIRE. ONCE MORE, THEN. THAT SHOULD MAKE AT LEAST ONE OF MY CHILDREN GLAD. I DON'T THINK THE OTHER WILL WANT TO TALK TO ME AGAIN. POOR CHILD, WILL SHE EVER REALIZE WHAT I WAS TRYING TO DO? THE BOY IS TOO HEADSTRONG TO LEAVE ANY OF THIS ALONE. AND YET...I HOPE THIS IS NOT A MISTAKE. I STILL FEEL SOMETHING IN THE AIR.

(translated from morse code)

Does he have any children that you know of? Could he mean you and John?

I guess we really don't know what happened to him yet, did he run away or did something happen to him? I'm pretty sure he was planning on going away, but he wanted to give something to you before he left. Maybe he left it in the house somewhere for you?

I just realized one of his hidden messages was:
"Find the Key. Unlock the door."

Could it be theres a hidden key somewhere at his place that he might have left for you to find?

Please let me know if you have any more questions or would like any more information, I don't mean to frighten you with this, I'm just trying to help find Charles.

Someone who basically has the same zip code as me already got theirs yesterday. There is absolutely no reason that it wouldn't be here. They didn't send it. I'm sick of them screwing me over at every juncture. I had to go through so much just to get my membership privledges, and I'm sure this is for the same reason. I'm done with it. Done.

*crosses fingers* Okay, then. Contact made. Let's see how she takes to that, though I'm wondering how, exactly, we're supposed to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that we're the proverbial good guys.

Still. You gotta wonder how much you can tell her without compromising the Cyphers as a whole. She's obviously been initiated, but...

So. Add another name. First Charles. Then John and Sue. And now Larry...?

 		for those who haven't read sues whole blog, john is the new name of 'the boy' she complains about who charles seemed to take on as a protege or something, larry is sues boss at the bookstore who makes fun of her interest in cryptozoology

 		Just to let you guys know...I started a new thread for these email interactions that we're getting. I thought it could be helpful to have all of those in one place and use these other threads for solving the puzzles. But it's a free country so post where you like. Very Happy

Mond is german for moon
Shyler is Danish
Shuyler is a more common spelling
Monde is french for world

 		Wow. So, it wasn't until I was complaining about this over dinner that my mom mentioned some postcard that she threw away yesterday because she thought it was a scam. I dig through the trash a little, and sure enough, there it is. Unbelievable.

A web search on your name then turned up your blog. It would seem that the young man with the artifacts was your acquaintance John Match.

In his message to us, Charles asked us to act quickly, but we still don't know precisely what sort of trouble he's in, or where he is. Did he leave any notes with you? Does the message he hoped you would find mean anything to you? Finally, do you have any contact information for John Match? We might be able to pick up Charles' trail that way.

I realize this must all be very disturbing, but we're going to do our best to find Charles and get him out of whatever bad situation he may be in.
