well, "42 24 01 21 63 64" is not hex, unless "B$!cd" means anything to anyone, and "dDwyMDY1NTIwNzM1Ozs+mUPIfvct33x8rGnrbRqh93b6J3Q=" does not mean anything to me in Base64 encoding, i will keep trying with other ways, hopefully with luck...
EDIT: Not sure if i am on to anything, but i found that "/./~dDwyMDYNTIwNzMOzsmUPIfvctxrGnrbRqhbJQ" translates into Base64 encoding "Ly4vfmREd3lNRFlOVEl3TnpNT3pzbVVQSWZ2Y3R4ckducmJScWhiSlE=" lol if this is nothing, but it may have some words there? maybe not?

Well, the big string (dDwyMDY1NTIwNzM1Ozs+mUPIfvct33x8rGnrbRqh93b6J3Q=) doesn't necessarily translate ENTIRELY using Base64, but it does have a string of ten numbers in the middle of it ...

206 is a general-purpose area code in Washington state.

I believe he is refferring to that page some people have found (where you enter your email and where you would like to direct the points). So far people have only found it with the option to transfer 0 points...some how we need to get "more than 0"

Checkpoint [Are You Him?]

Probably reffering to the q1.gif

And the "date" of the update is 06-Jun-2006 06:06
Any thoughts about this or have you given up?

Oh, I'm kinda banned from Slashdot so I can't check there Embarassed

So the PM is beating us over the head with this "Are you him" thing, but honestly, I have no idea where to go with it.

slight change

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but sometime between May 26 and roughly June 1, the field where we input numbers stopped processing a leading 0. You can enter it in just fine, but it doesn't show in the running list of failures. I.e., try entering 0, and press Enter. Or 01. Or 002. Or... 0227664.

Note that this doesn't do anything useful so far, but it is different behavior from a few weeks ago. I remember entering eight-digit binary numbers with leading zeros, and they always appeared in the running list of attempted numbers (leading zeros intact).

Yeah, I saw that too. I agree that there have been some behind-the-scenes changes in the last few weeks, because I can no longer get it to do things like display a 12-digit number (or a "number" with letters in it) by manipulating the POST data.

a wee bit off topic...

I'm pretty sure this is lost-related. Other than a couple of other (previously mentioned) references, one of the frames of i2.gif mentions 'outback adventures' which i think is another lost reference.

Just punched the code as 2 seperate entries. Got a "Are you him" msg.
I should have tried a "Y-E-S" (594553) on that Wink

Does it really? I think you're getting confused and the actual text of that frame is:
Code:
EWITHO
UTBROK
ENCOUN
TS
Forming the text 'without broken counts'. Unless you think it's taking about 'Outbrok Encounts' Smile

Regarding the number 422401216364, entering the first half (422401) returns a full box. The last half does nothing, but maybe I need to wait ten minutes.

Tried the 'yes' answer

Hello, all, I'm a first time poster, I've been lurking for about a day. I must say, all of this ARG business is quite intriguing. Anyhow, I tried answering 593544 to the "are you him?" response, and nothing happened. I don't know what to make of that other than that that route is a dead end, but perhaps you good people can come up with something else following that line of thought. Here's to a victory! Coffee
