(as a mod, i could suggest this thread goes over in the Meta/Questions section, with a proper tag, but I really can't be bothered.)

Yeah, somewhere in here we did explain this for the sake of THF.org updates, when people couldn't see the Persephone-induced hacks. But you can't even access that version of the site anymore, so clearing your cache won't do you any good.

Someone could point you to the place where the old version of THF.org has been mirrored and archived. I might dig up some links later, if no one replies.
