What about the Remote Dial

Could the flower have something to do with the Remote Dial as seen on the front page of Global's Web site?

I just sent an email to

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
ghostSPLATsyst3m.co.uk ("he died for me"; father (god)/child (son)/holy "ghost"?)

My email's content:

Subj: Is this channel secure?

I got your message. What next?

No bounce or reply yet...

Edit: It's been a couple hours and still no reply. The no bounce is encouraging, but perhaps my message content wasn't, um, compelling enough. Anyone have thoughts as to what the message should be?

Failed emails won't bounce. You will know if you got the addy right if you get an email right away. It will more than likely be a autoresponder like the first email address.

I don't know if it was missed the first time or if this is something new to help us out, but there is a hidden image at the bottom of the page that reads "slmgkihbw euoxzoy ivnqfqbnyfr ohzdujde" with alt text of "slmgkihbw". Tried ROT and straight substitution with no luck. Thought about Vigenere but no idea on a key.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Vigenere with the key "fraction" gives "numerator numeral denominator morpheme"

Well, I think that the code somehow means:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
That 'numeral' is the numerator of the fraction, and 'morpheme' is the denominator. What this means I don't know, but I do think that this is a word puzzle where we have to split up a word or words to find the answer. It has me stumped.

Copyright at bottom of Global homepage says 2022.
Therefore he is 29 or 30. No children here.

Which leads us to
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
[url="http://www.syst3m.co.uk/Default/SpiralLadder.html"]http://www.syst3m.co.uk/Default/SpiralLadder.html[/url]

And mixed up words! Or are they? The third paragraph, in particular, where it says "is of is is be" screams to me "s f s s b".

There was a lot of "klooage" in the autoreply.

Hello again,

I once met someone who looked a little like you. See you? Possibly, but I see a lot of things. Reflections, footprints and breadcrumb trails, one can paint pictures with them of startling realism.
Me? No, don't you worry about me friend, for to you I am merely a footnote to help you make a little sense of this abstract work. A breeze to help guide that fledgling magpie of yours towards its nest. So much of what we do is documented. Remember this. The pages can be a little crumpled. The calligraphy messy, but its there.
All in rows, ordered in name and size and shape and colour and the regulators watch from their sombre thrones and name and size and shape and colour and see that it is good.

The walls are empty.
The doors are closed. And the cameras are pointing in on themselves.

Your good friend,

Default.

I'm kinda seeing program code in it (But I see that in a lot of stuff.)

Translated...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Well what is this that we like to believe we have and yet lost so easy?
Sometimes it is described as that which is equal and remains so regardless of the values of and variables that appear within it.
By others it is said to be a name or persona by which one is known.
What abides be important though is that it is the knowledge of who one is and why. Hold it dear.

Edit:

Sorry that I didn't post HOW I solved this... By request:

Code:

dear.       why.        one         knowledge   it
though      abides      is          by          name
to          it          it.         that        of
of          remains     is          as          it
so          and         believe     we          is

it          and         who         the         that
important   what        one         persona     a
said        others      within      variables   values
reguardless and         which       described   sometimes
lost        have        to          that        what

hold        is          of          is          is
be          known.      which       or          be
is          by          appear      any         the
so          equal       that        is          easy?
yet         we          like        this        well

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Okay, I counted the words, and saw that there were 75 words. Each section had 25. 25 is a perfect square, so it seemed logical to place them in the matrix above. I also saw that the top left word had punctuation, making me think that it was the last word. That being the case, I looked at the bottom right as the first. I then saw that the bottom right of the 3 martices started to make sense. Then I just continued the pattern. It is a Spiral Ladder. Nice puzzle. The rest is a riddle.
