I'm not sure John's house is where the meet is planned. Based on thelsdj's transcription, it looks like Hopewell Culture National Historic Park might be the place:

http://www.nps.gov/hocu/

It has burial mounds from an old Native American culture.

Yeah, that would make more sense. I guess we'll want to ask Sue to be there to observe the delivery, and possibly confront or follow John.

Tesseract and thelsdj, your eyes are obviously better than mine, because you made out a lot of words that I hadn't, and that are obvious once you pointed them out. Still, I just for the life of me don't see line 4, word 3 as being "home".

One thing that did occur to me, though, is that "call old man 1" might mean to call the phone number 653-6261.

OLD-MAN1 is 653-6261 on a typical phone. As for the area code, there may be more than one in the Cincinnati area, but I would guess 513. However, my assumption is that the area code is the same as that of the number of the phone Sue grabbed.

513-653-6261 resolves to a "number cannot be completed a dialed message.

Nice thought. Any other area codes?

Sue has cleaned up the image a bit. I think it actually says "must be ALONE to accept package"

So the updated note:

nfo Cache 38
Hopewell tallest mound
Call old man 1st
Must be alone to
accept package
sunday night

not sure what 'call old man 1st' means fully, was he supposed to call charles?

and 'alone' rather than 'home' must mean that he's supposed to be at hopewells tallest mound sunday night to accept the package?

Maybe we should have Sue go there but try to hide and just observe
