[NEW SITE] www.hesh-intranet.com Internal Files great work guys, I'm gutted I wimped out and went to bed...
I bet it's Coldbone, just because of the name - and she works in room 101..
EDIT: Good News, we need another pass word to get into the file system
EDIT EDIT:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There's a thread on it on the Internal board, but not much there. Although I've noticed we can probably get away with "posting" as a staff member, takes 24 hours for the comments to go on though if approved
EDIT EDIT EDIT:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Ok we need to get into Jill Tower's private space - she a Senior sales Rep based in office 303. I've submitted a reply to the thread about the file system asking for the instructions to be posted where everyone can see them...

now what? Okay, we got in, but we're only half way there...We still have to figure out who put the message on the CD. I know there were discussions about this in other threads, but I am too tired to remember where.
Now I really AM going to go to bed...hopefully the next shift of people just waking up for the day can figure that one out.

Forgive my ineptitude. I kind of understood where you got the answer, but not really. Could someone please explain it to this sleep deprived Wahoo?
EDIT: Ah! Thank you Phant.

Yeah it would be good to let him know we are in, still need to nail the mystery message mechanic...
another route of attack is :
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
through Kevin Allbright, he's the techie bod who built the filesystem, possibly contacting him about the Daemons?

I guess we should clarify who and what we're looking for...

I would pass your query on to the sound engineer who
worked with Viard, but he is no longer with Hesh Records.
So we're looking for a male sound engineer, who is no longer with the company.
They make it easy for us by leaving people who have left the company in the employee database, and giving us the dates when they left.
Possibilities then:
Jinhing McGovern (is that a male name? I wasn't sure) - Leave Date: 19/12/268
Cyrus Quinton - Leave Date: 01/10/268
Colin Clivedon - Leave Date: 01/10/268
So we need to find out which one of these (if any) worked with Viard. Maybe by posting something to the company message board as another staff member, but it would have to have a good story behind it ("Who was that guy who worked on the Viard album? He stole my stapler...").
As for getting into the file system, I'd say that's going to require some social engineering on the message board as well.

Good thinking Daffy
I'd purely been looking at getting into the filesystem. (I'm still never sure about when to spoiler, but see my posts & edits above) 24 hours before posts get posted though...

Maybe I'm being thick. I've been following this thread from the word go and I know that the answer to the question is Myxolidian, but how does this help with the password? What is the cube order I need to drag to the boxes to make the password??

Me too -- I'd been looking at that filesystem. There don't seem to be any obvious clues around... maybe we aren't meant to get in here yet?
Good going, Daffy. Maybe we could take a closer look at the termination dates and compare them with the Sentinel dates for stories on the CD production?

No, you mean:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
mixolydian
which is the password.

Could Cyrus and Colin have worked together (on the secret message)? I find it odd that they left on the same day. Or am I reading this wrong?
EDIT: Now that I think about it, the Viard album controversy was going on in the winter, wasn't it? And it looks like Colin and Cyrus left in October. Do we know when the CD was finalized? If it was after this, then Jinhing is more likely to be our suspect because he was there through December.
Am I getting too sleepy?

I can't remember how we worked out the person who had posted the message had left Hesh? Is there not a chance they are still there?

The quote in my post above was from the email from Helix Hesh.

The only thing is, all three people joined the company in 260 or before. Seems kind of odd that they would start working here so long ago just for this opportunity. I mean, talk about foresight!
As far as posting on the internal board, I recommend doing so under the name Shana Prouset. She's a tech intern who says she'll be "in an out" for the next couple of months due to her studies at Edyta. There's a good chance she won't notice the post for a while if we do so under her name. Still not sure what we should post if we're gonna con someone into giving us the file system password.
