[SITE] DJ Dan (May 16th) We've been updated.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Check out the source code for THF.org.
It Gives a link to http://www.djdan.am/
(changing the topic -- altho it was an update to THF, it isn't a THF discussion; new site, new topic, and the update could just be a brief mention in the other thread with a link to here -- catherwood)

I couldn't find it in the source either (and I kinda hate that we are being spoonfed clues via this "Speaker" guy)..
but at first pass the podcast is the most interesting thing on the DJDan site..

emailed DJ Dan I sent DJ Dan an appropriately breathless and paranoid fan letter, trying to get some backstory on the "arms dealer" ref in the podcast. Here's hoping we get something back:
Dan:
Sure, everyone knows Alvar Hanso was making weapons... for NATO, supposedly. Where else do you figure he was selling them?
And catch a load of that Life Extension Project page. Their corporate lawyer-- or shall I say indentured servant?-- can't tell an orangutan from a chimp. The average *orangutan* life expectancy is 35 years, not 60-- so just *how long* have Alvar and his boys been doing this genetic engineering thing, since 1936? Nazi involvement, anyone?
Hit me back. Huge fan of the show.

It still won't show up for me, I've checked everywhere. Bugger. At least I know the link. The speaker thing gets to me too a bit but at least we don't really have to look to him unless we need verification.
Am avoiding thf.org after this for awhile as my Hanso related nightmares last night were indeed the most horrifying things I have ever experienced.

It's right there in http://www.thehansofoundation.org/ source:
Code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<!--http://www.djdan.am-->
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en"> etc., etc.
Does this look like a Mapinguari to anyone else? http://www.djdan.am/mythic-beast.html

He's from Terre Haute, Indiana (among other places) -- the birthplace of Peter Thompson.

Closer examination of the shark on the ConspiraSpy of the Month page reveals a spoiler for S02E03, "Orientation:"
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The shark's, er, label is the logo for the Swan, just rotated a little.
As for what that could be, since "Richard P." makes a point of saying it's neither a tattoo nor a brand... I'm guessing it's a genetically-induced pigment change that produced the Dharma logo. The sidebar image on the CSotM page would tend to suggest that we're supposed to draw that conclusion as well.

Are we to assume that Persephone hacked the website again and left us this clue?
Anyway, Dan mentions The Hanso foundation on his podcast.
Does anyone else get the mythical creature reference they threw in there?

Okay maybe I'm just grabbing at straws here, but in looking at the DJDan source code, I'm struck by a couple of things that seem potentially significant.
First is the list of links to the "memberof" images on the left side of each page. The code looks like:
Code:
<img src="mn_img/memberof/00.png" class="memberof">
<img src="mn_img/memberof/04.jpeg" class="memberof">
<img src="mn_img/memberof/03.png" class="memberof">
<img src="mn_img/memberof/06.png" class="memberof">
<img src="mn_img/memberof/01.png" class="memberof">
<img src="mn_img/memberof/02.png" class="memberof">
<img src="mn_img/memberof/05.png" class="memberof">
Why that order? 00 04 03 06 01 02 05
The other thing concerns the icons at the bottom of each page. Other than the obvious presence of the Hanso logo and the altered picture of Joop, check out the code for this part:
Code:
<img src="mn_img/lgt/no_001.jpg">
<img src="mn_img/lgt/no_002.jpg">
<img src="mn_img/lgt/ape_1.jpg">
<img src="mn_img/lgt/media.jpg">
<img src="mn_img/lgt/explosion.jpg">
<img src="mn_img/lgt/fallout.jpg">
<img src="mn_img/lgt/det.jpg">
<img src="mn_img/lgt/beast.jpg">
<img src="mn_img/lgt/ufo01.gif">
<img src="mn_img/lgt/moon.jpg">
Notice the weird spacing. Potentially some kind of code? I've tried playing with the initial letters of each pic (nn a m efd bum) but without success. I've also searched for "mn_img/lgt/ape_2.jpg" etc. but no go. So, I'm just throwing this out there...

I have a feeling that photo of the "mythic beastie" is stegged. Photoshop says there "might be a digital watermark, but it cannot be read". I interpret that as there is some out-of-place data in the GIF. I haven't been able to find a tool that can read that kind of stuff though, but it might be worth checking for someone who knows their way around stegged gifs.
edit: spellcheck

Hunch: Excepting 8, those are the digits that make the "the numbers".
I'd love to know what's up with the altered picture of Joop - is this picture illustrating that Joop likes ciggies and has something implanted behind his eye? Because that's all I can get out of it so far....
