 [META] Hellos & Introductions

-- Heres the obligatory Roll-Call/Hello/Introductions thread --

Hello, chippy here. I'm very much looking forward to playing this Smile played a few ARGs before, and its nice to be in on this one from the start. A good puzzle is always nice, collaborative playing is always better, and evil cubes well...

I particulary like the global nature of this one, its going to be big! nice to see new faces too, welcome...and... Horray for Joop (and his space monkey siblings)!

namaste.

Hi everyone. This is my first ARG so am looking forward to getting my teeth stuck into it!

I for one am not sure whether there are clues around that we're missing or whether we've got as far as we can and now need to wait to be given the next task.

For those of you that have played ARGs previously, were new clues revealed over time or was it a case of everything being out there from the word go and it just needing brain power to find it?

Look forward to working with you all! Very Happy

Jon

Ooh, good idea!

I'm sequoya (obviously), played various ARGs before. Big Lost fan, in the UK but still managing to keep up with Season 2 Wink Just saw episode 2x20 last night and am still a bit Shocked though obviously not going to spoil here!

Am really hoping this turns out to be a lot more immersive than the previous Lost interactive fluff as promised.. keeping my fingers crossed anyway! Hoping the global thing works out well.

EDIT - jmds - generally, new clues are revealed over time. Often there is a given update day (ie possibly we will only get stuff on show day) but sometimes things are filtered out as and when the PMs decide. It depends on the ARG Wink

Hello all!

Though I've played ARGs (alone) several times before, I figured that since I've actually hopped into one right as it's starting I'd like to try playing along with others. Hopefully I can keep up!

Hi all...
I've played a couple of ARGs before this one. I jumped in at the very very end of Art of the Heist and played Last Call Poker as well as some small grass-roots games. And I've poked my head in at Perplex City a few times, but I pretty much just lurk on that one. I'm very excited about this one, and have been hoping for a Lost ARG since the oceanic air websites of last summer. Hope this is a good one Smile

hi!

i'm a big lost fan from the uk (but up to date with US episodes) & i've never played an ARG before, but have been intrigued by them after reading up on the ilovebees campaign (right word? probably not) a few months ago, and the news that one of my favourite programmes on telly would be the inspiration for a game of its own was great to hear.

as someone more eloquent than myself has already put it, i signed up here because the other lost experience sites were

getting bogged down with people adding the same info over and over again with little effort being made to move things along. From what I can see that's different here.

at least there's no 'hI i cAn'T DoWNLoaD the LoST GaME wHERE do U gEt It?!?!!?!?!' posts here Very Happy

plus, you all seem to know what you're doing so hopefully will be like my...er....sherpers. or something.

Well, I guess I'll poke my head into this one...

I'm Atrophied, been around for a while, played ILB, PXC, S&S, LCP (and probably a few others that aren't worth recalling right now Wink )

I have high hopes for this game, the current immersiveness is a little less than I would like, but hopefully there'll be phonecalls, emails, snail mail and lots of fun puzzles Very Happy.

Hi guys!

It's great to see new faces here, and I am expecting alot more because of the scope of this game.

I got my ARG start with ilovebees. I have also played such classics as Art of the Heist and Last Call Poker. This is my first season really getting into Lost, but it is a great show and I am sure this game will be alot of fun.

Hello all!
My first ARG, and its about Lost, which intrigued me, and irritated my family, all last year. But as a UK member I'm trying to avoid seeing spoilers about the second series. Hoping the game doesn't require too much knowledge of series two - will just have to be helped out if needed I guess.

My name is because I wondered what my husband involved himself in on forums each evening - turned out to be boring technical stuff and cars - but the name stuck and I'm looking for something a bit more interesting!

Hello.

I'm an ARG player from way back in the beginning of The Beast (was "oeeping" on Cloudmakers). Tinkered with a few of its children for a bit, then had to give them up for my real life.

LOST has had me enthralled since the first episode, though, and I just have to see where this game it's spawned ends up.

So, greetings to all from New York. Let's get this show on the road.

Hi,

I'm Jeb, a lot of you know me from Perplex City and some other ARGs I've played... I'm also a minor celebrity (this is becoming a running joke), having been on Beauty and the Geek UK (a geek obv Razz )...

So yeah, that's about it, hi all

Jeb

(PS, I also now should be a mod over at www.thelostexperience.com 's forums at the tail section...)

You're starting to sound like Troy McClure Razz ("You may remember me from...")
