Actually, it looks to me like they literally scanned in the newspaper clipping. Confused Kinda unproffesional, if you ask me.

tHIS IS THE text that i got after photoshopping the image.

E C H E M H O T E P U I T

Surely enough, this is an anagram of...........
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The Mouthpiece

Also, in H. McIntyre's mail, there is a newspaper clipping. If you look closely, there is some text that appears to be the side effect of the scanning of the document. However, after isolating the darker colors, I was able to decipher two messages:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

If you are one, know one
and
Happy Mother's Day

Upon entering the website, when you need to spin teh compass, the code:

^ Trout Please read the thread before posting. That's all been found already, and the "message" in the reverse text appears to be the other side of the newspaper page.

Also, since I'm a big dolt and didn't catch it until today...

When you hit 108 degrees on the compass, the little green Solaris 8 terminal box pops up and tells you you're "Connecting to OPENERS HEP..."

Of course, it's an anagram for "Persephone." Just in case you wondered who gave you all that lovely unauthorized Hanso mail access. ;)

Isn't that the type of immersion we'd hope for? I'd rather that than an obviously photoshopped image representing a scan from a newspaper clipping.

Possibly, but I also think that the company who made the ad could find a clean copy of the original graphic to put on their site.

I think of it this way though; Everything is in game. So the question would be why Hugh has a newpaper clipping of this advert in his folders?

I can't get the password to work for the life of me. What happens when you enter 'the mouthpiece' 'themouthpiece' or whatever it is correctly?

Are you using http://thehansofoundation.org or http://www.thehansofoundation.org ? It only works with the second one, for some reason. If you still can't get it to work,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It shows you a video of him with a woman who is not his wife, and Persephone claims that they're having an affair. It also shows you some bills for expensive "massage" services and hotels and suchlike. Basically, Persephone's claiming that McIntyre is a sleazeball.

Since they linked to the Chrysler Fleet website, I've been prying around the images trying to find a reference number. No luck.

I could go find you the number I DID see on the forms, but it didn't work. Anyone else tried this?

Try using this link http://www.thehansofoundation.org/content_execbios.swf and then reloading thf.org. That's the only way I could get it to work. I got the idea from catherwood in the other thread.

The OTHER thread being this one called "[UPDATE] THF.ORG/Hugh McIntyre" -- see, you need to be logging into the correct website with that password, not the Compass one.

BTW, that advice i gave was only for getting the password box to show up. To get the password to work, people have reported that you may need to activate some portions of the Compass site to trigger THF.org site to proceed. Plus, it appears to set a variable ONLY for www.thehansofoundation.org -- if you omit www, the password is not accepted, according to reports.

Go to that thread where you'll see some screen shots.

If you posted in the right thread I could tell that you need to click on Hugh McIntyre not the board of directors.

This thread is only for Let Your Compass Guide You
Anything else should be posted in the appropriate thread. Is it really that hard? Crying or Very sad
