Does anyone remember the Ilovebees.com "web game" for Halo 2? Well everyone kept trying to piece things together and make theories but it all turned out to be a joke and no REAL connection to the story...If i remember correctly....correct me if Im wrong.

Ahahahahahaha!!!!

I would beware calling ILB a "joke" around these boards! You will get eaten by mama bears!

ILB, like TLE, was a story in and of itself that expanded upon the Halo universe without directly effecting the Halo2 story itself. This game will not likely have any direct effect on LOST either but they are both fun, and that is what we are here for!

Possible Lost Experience spoiler
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Actually the Script Coordinator for Lost has said that the nature of the numbers (4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42) will be revealed during the Lost Experience. So while it won't effect the story of Lost, playing this game is going to give some insight.

And ILB was great, I think Halo 2 was the joke. Raspberry

Mini Game

On the page when they credit card and bills fall their are also falling pills and dimonds. The dimonds are in context, but the pills? If these are things related to Hugh's affair one must wonder if it is him or his girlfriend who is on drugs, addicted to painkillers, whatever.

It's just something to think about.

I find it hard to believe that the story ends here with this. I doubt we went through the trail and I doubt Persephone is breaking into Hanso just to air some tabloid dirty laundry. I guess the basic point of "all is not what it seems" is made, but that's been done before. What does this new information give us?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It gives us a new character. Who is this girl? Is she really Hugh's chippy on the side with expensive tastes? Or, is Hugh masking covert activities under the guise of an expensive affair? Spending ridiculous amounts of money on a girl might be a good way of burying something like paying an investigator's expenses. I'd be seriously disappointed if all we learn is that Hugh McIntyre is a philanderer.

Yes, dave, I have been wondering the same thing. I think Persephone is trying to discredit all of the execs of THF one by one. First Hanso (where is he?) then Mittlewerk (fraud) now McIntyre
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
(philanderer and perhaps (spec) embezzler?)
and I guess she already tried to show how Thompson is getting reputable people kicked out of their jobs (with the original, "subverting authority" clue).

She's established they are all frauds and jerks. What will happen next? (Joop isn't really 105?) I'm speculating we will be getting more dirty background on the execs.

(OK, I've edited this to spoiler references which you also spoilered. Sorry, folks, if I revealed too much.)

Flash animation on THF.org

Hope I am not being trout, but has anyone else noticed that you can no longer bypass the Flash animation intro when you open THF.org? There's no "click here to enter main site" any longer - you have to sit through the intro until "Namaste".

I think this is new - I was able to get past it yesterday. So, is there something on the intro we need to see?

I thought I saw this already addressed, but I cannot "trout" you without a link to a prior post.

Look for a vertical scroll bar; scroll the window down. They made the flash taller (for some reason?) and the "skip intro" link is below the fold (as they say in archaic newspaper talk).

I just checked in IE Opera and Mozilla, they all seem fine. I guess it's browser dependant

Nah, it was always that tall but it didn't fit on to most resolutions without selecting 'Show All' in the Flash options, but that made everything small and um... scruffy.

That got me initially as well. I even commented about it on here, and someone said I had to scroll down to see it. The next time I went to the site I scrolled down, and it was all the way at the very bottom. Today when I went there, I noticed they moved it up a bit. You still have to scroll down, but only a little bit.

Has anyone else noticed the hidden bit of the page directly under the lower left corner that shifts the background spotlights around? I don't know if it has any significance, but I keep clicking it to get the weird hypnotic effect.
Yeah, that was found a while ago.
I really can't figure out what you're talking about. By "background spotlight," do you simply mean the yellow square that highlights links when hit the tab button? I've seen someone mention "background spotlights" before, but the term still has me baffled, and I can't find anything like a "hidden bit" in the lower left-hand corner.
Depending on what browser you're using and what display settings you have, it may not show up on your screen. If you want to get the same effect, you can tab until the RSS box is yellow-highlighted, then shift+tab once and press enter.

If you keep hitting it until it's over that orange picture of a city, and then one more time, it highlights a small square in the top of that picture.
That's not a square in the picture, you're highlighting the link in the news itself. It's behind the picture, but it's still there, and the box shows through the picture. Try scrolling the news, and you'll see that the box moves.
