A distinction, of sorts, to be bottom of the table </clutching at straws>
It seems that this World Cup has fewer upsets than expected (if that isn't a contradiction). Time to make some substitutions...

There's likely to be a little bit of movement yet. Come on Spain! A Reyes hat-trick would do me nicely.

Still three weeks to go as well.

Reyes and Fabregas are both on the bench. I was hoping to make it into the Top 10.

I know, how gutting! How can they leave such quality players out? Travesty! <cough>maybe I shouldn't have based my choice on the team they play for <cough>

Any Spanish players should put you up a bit. 4-0! It just looked so easy.

Get in! Puyol 9 points, and should be in the overall Dream Team. That's me up to mid-table mediocrity.
Now, how can I make sure more than 9 of my team actually play in the second round

I'll be finishing on 56 - so that table above is a little meaningless
On that note - my spanish "fillers" in defence did rather nicely even got three points for a goal assist!

OMGLOLLERCAUSTBBQ!!!
Sente's Kiteway's got a fantasy football team. It's got 6 points.
And the English football team will win 3-0 today.

Apparently their AIs aren't as good as they advertise. Would have thought they could do better than just 6 points.

Well ... no, I won't comment. I screwed up before the USA-Czech game, so I'll just keep my trap shut this time.
EDIT: My original thought was that it would be another draw ... and for 82 minutes, even while in a bunker mentality, it seemed I was going to turn out right. Oh well. Congrats to England. If Sweden doesn't win later today, then England gets the group victory as well.

J*sus. I was a nervous wreck for 80 minutes against Paraguay, and again for 80 odd minutes against Trinidad & Tobago. Not sure if there are any genuine T&T folk reading this (though I'm sure there's plenty on the leaderboard ) but well played. That backheel was not offside, and should have been up there for goal of the tournament.
Still, Crouch and Gerrard are in my team, so I'm hoping for a good round.
