"It's funny, I have been in the revenge business for so long, now that it's over I don't know what to do with the rest of my life." -- Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride
Kurt right now is completely
obsessed with
focused on finding Miranda.
1. What will he do if he finds her?
2. What will he do after she is dealt with (be it incarcerated, disappears, or dies (contemplate Kurt's reaction to that situation))?
And of course ...
3. How will Violet respond to Kurt? If he's "broken," will she try to fix him? Will he push her away?
Oh, the plot twists from here could echo for months ...

Honestly, I doubt that Kurt has entirely reduced this situation to this game. The whole point of the story was a metaphor: strategy affecting stregy, watching you watch me watch you, and so on. Kind of how he's trying to see how, exactly, this logical layout is shaped, and basically saying that he needs to see what's on the horizon before he can act accordingly, which pretty much assures me that he's back in his own head.

So basically hes planning ahead now and trying to figure out what traps Miranda will lay for him. She must know he'll follow her still no matter what.
Still want that tent however, never go camping but still!

Which of his gaming styles will Kurt try to use against Miranda.
The all out attack, the let her think she is winning until the last minute then pull the rug out from under her or the 'lets work together' to build something better.
Mind you, not much could be better than that tent.

Well, I think we can say that the "let's work together" option with a known murderer might not be the best choice for one's health.
The question is whether is Kurt heartless enough to do the pull out the rug option or not, as that requires a fair amount of set up for your victim. The all out attack only requires complete and utter focus upon destroying your target. Of course, that leads to my above question about reprecussions for Kurt's
already delicate err flimsy err shredded
psyche.

Following from above (someone had to):
"Hello, my name is Kurt McAllister. You killed my friend's boss. Prepare to die."

If Kurt catches her, I'd like to see him bring her back to Perplex City for interrogation. In a deep basement of the library Him and Violet could play a little good cop bad cop.

Technically it was created long before that, but it was too difficult to play because you had to keep track of too many things - however, computers made the whole process much easier and less tedious .
The soul of Counterpoint consists of insight and prediction. When you play Counterpoint, you can't see the other player; they might be behind a divider, or in another room . Each of you has your own board that is a window onto a landscape that your share.
I know that we're probably supposed to take this whole discussion as a parable for a larger situation, but the two bolded sentences I've highlighted above really make me hope that MC has put together an online multiplayer flash game. Sometimes I feel like this game moves at such a glacially slow pace (at least slow compared to the intensity of my interest in it) that it'd be nice to have something like a multiplayer board game in which you could play against other people on a regular basis. as someone else seems to have indicated, perhaps an Earthian extension of the PCAG?
alas, however, I assume this is just a fanciful wish on my part.

I agree with you on the flash game part, maybe if they could bring counterpoint to us, it sounds great fun.
Anyway, I bolded the statement above because there has been an earthian extension to the PCAG, they happened at the beginning of the year (one in london, one in new york), it was great fun, although we got a clue which noone has worked out and it probably useless by now (was badly done morse code which very few people wrote down).
