Is there a certain place in the roller that you have to align them with.

I've tried everythign- clearing cookies, cache, history, even re-booted (just cause i tried everything else)- and NOTHING seems to work with that damn DC puzzle! Now, for some reason, there's three (i think) pieces that don't automatically click into a spot... is it possible you have to align them just perfectly? I have tried to line them up a straight and flush as possible, and I'm still not getting anywhere.
This has got to be the buggiest game I've ever seen, professional or otherwise. Last week, half the people playing couldn't get the chain to work until the fourth or fifth time they restarted the game. I chuckled at their bad luck... and look where it got me!

Line them up in the middle. Are you sure you're using the right door?
It opens automatically and

think I know where it is I used Google insted of ask and put in all the circled words to the clue. One of the first things to come up was a site that I knew had to be it because of the reference in the show

Spec based on the clues so far:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The final clue is an anagram - what for? Free. That makes the question read "Where is the early symbol laid out for free?" - the answer - The National Museum of American History, Washington DC. It's the home of the Star Spangled Banner - currently under restoration. It will be on display through Sept 4th - just enough time for the finale. And it has no admission fee as the kicker.

Wow, I'm really impressed with the last last challenge. Not the most difficult thing in the world, but it was pretty fun to me.
A hint for Loho:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The message is actually I SEEK THY REEF, and I think the only part that needs unscrambling is the word that is circled on the notepad. Your anagram suggestion helped me a lot, though.

question Here is the sentence of the clues:
Quote:
Where is the early symbol laid out for reef?
I suppose it comes down to what you think "early symbol" is referring to.
Quote:
Isn't there room for one more clue in the sentence from next week? I would laugh if somehow they came up with "urbishing" so it is reef urbishing

Last puzzle it's autpmatic when the symbols are lined up, might even be 3 different doors to make a choice from!

I feel your pain. Or felt at least. I decided to go check on my other computer to see if I had any different luck. Amazingly I did. When I opened up the puzzle board, none of the pieces were in place (every time I opened up the puzzle board on my normal computer, the pieces were all on the board). I put the pieces back in and voila! It went to the fireplace opening and from there I was able to enter the symbols (btw - thanks to everyone for giving hints in here as I had no sound on this computer and I had no idea what I was doing).
Unfortunately, I don't know what the difference is between my downstairs and upstairs computers in terms of why one worked and one didnt. It might be the flash version, although I would have thought that the upstairs would have had a newer version than this one. I have no idea if it's possible for you to get onto another computer, but that's the solution that ended up working for me. I hope you are able to figure out something soon.
One other thought - I know sometimes flash hides stuff in really weird places to keep track of what you've done and whatnot. You might also want to try clearing that out. It's the only thing I can think of why all my puzzle pieces would be already placed even though I was using two different browsers on the same computer.
