2 things that came to mind
lets say the sign is real
well that sign could have been placed for the busses that go to the wrong location letting them know.... idiot go to mount rushmore.
If it was a fake than i want to know what that small green sign says next to it. It just might be important.
And Yeah if there is another one I totally want to see a team UF. And if they give phones then we could get a network going and they could call one of us and we could show the world the power of uf.

It is indeed on tonight. Planing on taping it. Gotta watch Raw because I'm a wrestling nerd. Sooooo any whobe. Try to watch. Try to tape. My theory on the treasure hunters name cyrpting to something is a crock, and besure to check out the nbc site for challange 2 to start.

Online puzzle game:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Simple logic to move the rails across the rocks.
Figure out your destination by using Ask.com (just like the Treasure Hunters on the show). Drive to that location on the map.
Go into the cabin to find out who's feather is on the box.
Open box - get second puzzle piece.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Second sentence has "IS" circled.
Final clue now reads: "Where is"....
The TV contestants have a map and a compass. TV puzzle(s) would be a piece of cake for an ARG Team. We'd have to cull our most athletically inclined - but wouldn't that make for a good story - folks from all over the world (an "international" team would be so great) linked together by an online gaming experience involving puzzle solving and internet searching. I hope an UFer gets picked to win this online game.
I don't want to make another online guess until the coastline on that map is figured out. But I can't make a screen cap of the map. Please, does anyone have one to post?

The players have a map and a compus, we also have 2 things. A watch and a feather that means..... I got nothing.
I swear is the next clue we get is "the" I am bugging out.

Actually, we have two puzzle pieces on the desk. Two words for solving the clue to final location of the buried treasure. A watch and a box that has a feather on it. A rail, a shovel, a laptop, and a "free pass" ticket in our backpacks.
I wouldn't doubt that the next clue word will be "the". There are 8 words total. I just want to make a good guess to the possible finale location since we get 1 guess per week. Just got to get it right once to be in the drawing for the grande finale.
Let's do this!!!

When I say 2 things I mean the things above the word Challnage.

I had a dream the other night that the rest of the clues gave us "Where is the brother of Lance Burton." Who is a magician. So then we descided that his brother was Tim Burton so the answer was his birth place. Just thought I'd share a crazy dream.

Somehow I don't think that is very "historical" (note the theme throughout this adventure is US history).
The Genworth Book opens to a new page that provides a longitude and latitude of their headquarters. It was actually easier to just google their corporate offices and then look it up on the map
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Hint: Richmond, VA.
This may or may not be needed for the final solve.

Anyone else think that our two puzzle pieces so far look suspiciously (given the US history theme) like the buildings on the Mall in D.C.? I wasn't sure about the first, but the second looks an awful lot like the National Museum of Art and the Air and Space Museum across from it, complete with little round building next door.
GoogleMaps link, showing the Mall and assorted buildings: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=38.888528,-77.018666&spn=0.024318,0.040255&om=1
Please trout me if this has already been brought up, though I thought I looked through the entire thread and didn't see it.
ETA: And now that I've had the idea, I think the first piece could be the Nat'l WWII Memorial, since you can see a little curve down by the bottom that could be the edge of the Tidal Basin.

Ancalime: I'm pretty sure you are right. The third piece I got looks definitely Washington Monumentish.
"Smithsonian Institution" does not fit in the message box for the solution and this week's clue is ... interesting. I think its an anagram and I'm horrible at said puzzles.
EDIT: Nevermind on the waiting to discuss. The "s, t" might be Genworth's or NBC's way of doing "St."
Not sure which Saint would be associated with DC though.
