I dont agree with what was done but someone managed to decompile the whole site one day here is the link to look for yourself if you want. This might help confirm the location for those still doubting but dont blame me if you see something that you dont want to

decompiled map and game images not revealed yet

Where, is, & the (The clue is "in dark times the words form" with the word "the" circled).

EDIT: Maybe they fixed a typo.

Must be. When I solved it, the circle was definitely around "s, t".

That's what I thought ... except I guessed Independence Avenue. Ah well.

I love this place!!!! (Unfiction)
Nice find (the other pieces). I can see various places on this map: http://www.nps.gov/mall/graphics/WelcomeToWashington1.pdf

This week's challenge wasn't too difficult. Just find pieces and look around alot, then it's just in the timing to hit the ship with the cannon.

Edit to add: Redid the puzzle to give someone else the instructions and got a screen cap of the map that was in the bottle. May be important.

This week's was actually the most annoying for me. My computer is not exactly the fastest, which makes for some jumpy flash and an almost-impossible shot.

Well, the location is pretty obvious now if you look at the spoiler with all of the artifacts, although just having this week's artifact is probably enough to cue a lot of people in. I'm just glad I don't have to waste any more guesses Wink

About the coordinates found on page four of the Genworth "book." Something to note, I live less then three miles from their HQ. I spent an hour today walking around the campus taking pictures. Very Happy

but, I have a problem. The coordinates they give us are not in a format I know how to work with. So, if we are supposed to find anything hidden there, then I need some help converting them into a format I can find with my GPSr, something like (heading degrees, minutes.decimal minutes, or minutes.seconds....)

P.S. I'll be happy to post the pictures to a flikr account or here or something

When I first solved it, mine was also circled around "s, t." But, now it''s circled around "the." Question

Anyone got an idea what 9, 2, 3, and 4 mean? They're posted in the corners of the map that Kona has a screenshot of. I think the map is supposed to be of West Point showing the chain, but I could be wrong on that point (no pun intended).

Ok OK. Team meeting.

1st THE CLUE IS THE! BUGING OUT!!!

2nd GREAT WORK! Nice job guys, I agree that we have a map of Washington DC. My guess is that the clues will be a question and we will use the map that we make out of the pieces to answer it. Again great work!

3rd So what are we guessing as of now? I think one thing that we could really use is a google world pick of the area. We know it is the washington monument, and I was guessing that that one piece is part of the refection pool. So if someone can grab that pic it would be great, I will try after this.

4th I want to restate that I don't care who wins, as long as it is one of the members of team seatbelt. I also don't care what we win as long as it is something. That being said, please post the answer to the text message trivia thing. I can't watch it on monday, so I can't do it. Please guys help each other out. 10 G's would be great.

Ok guys good meeting. good meeting.

I guessed at the National Mall in DC after the second piece but recall that this seesm to be only the "key" (notice the shape). We may still need to find the lock.
