I'm sorry, but what does this have to do with the game? Please label your post correctly so that people have an idea what you are talking about.

"Lost Ninja" is the official Australian Channel 7 blog for The Lost Experience.
I'll bet that the puzzle was done for the fun of his readers and not as an in-game clue. The blog itself is meta, external to the game, just as is Speaker's blog for ABC and the Channel 4 blog for the UK.
So, i'm going to change the topic tag to [META]. While it was a nice catch to have solved his little puzzle, it really was intended to be played out in the comments section of his blog.
Apparently he's having a little real-world event of his own -- fun for Down Under, but still not part of the game itself.

You know I think that they really need to rethink haveing these guys around for the game. It really is makeing things more confuseing that it should be.

I doubt this is anything, but considering how the site is "lost ninja," might there be something to the fact that a "hanso" is also a ninja sword?

It could be something, but it won't pertain to the game as the lost ninja is technically OOG.

AUSTRALIA - Physical location Everyone knows that Lost Ninja is the meta blog for AUS audience... in his 2 last posts, he speaks of a location, a time, password....
Being in Canada, cannot do much...by chance would there be anyone in Australia reading this who is inclined to go and check it out?

The book "Bad Twin" isn't available for purchase in Australia. So the Lost Ninja has set this up to give away copies of the book. But who knows, something else may happen there as well.

I figure this is as good a place to clarify this misconception as any. "Hanso" is not a ninja sword. "Hanzō" is a fictional swordsmith in Kill Bill, who makes katanas, which many people so quaintly call "ninja swords." In my opinion, "Hanso" is simply a generic Northern European name.

Yeah, the so/zo difference could be a bastardization, but not likely. "Hanso" means a counterclaim or recrimination in Japanese. No entries for "hanzo" in my dictionary. Some entries for "hansou" include a sail, accompaniment, and partner or running mate. Not likely hansou would get corrupted to hanso, though. Also much more likely to be a European name than a Japanese one.

As a Perth, W.A. resident, I know for a fact that you can purchase Bad Twin here, and you don't have to even order it- there's stacks of them for sale.

If that's the case, did anyone go to Sydney to see what this was about?

Interesting, so does that mean that this is in-game? I've always been convinced that Ninja is OOG.

Personally, I don't think so. I think it was just a promotion for the books
