Icarus - in Greek mythology he was the son of the master craftsman Daedalus. They were both imprisoned by King Minos but Daedalus contrived to escape by fashioning wings for himself and Icarus out of wax and feathers. Despite his father's warnings, Icarus flew too close to the sun - his wings melted, he fell into the sea and drowned.

 		i have the same problem. freezes after "access granted" on the nucleotide puzzle. Anyone have any luck?

Just press 'Enter' (on your keyboard) after inputting the password.

 		Looks like they've fixed the glitch now - it's back up and running again. I've just completed it - be warned, the final question is really frustrating (not because it's difficult but because they want a very specific phrase Evil or Very Mad ).

I assume you mean the Strachey puzzle right? I'm quite sure I have the answer but...

Yes, that's the one Evil or Very Mad . Even though I'd found out all about what happened to the ship, it still took many goes before I got the phrase they wanted. For the record,

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
they want a 2 word answer and it doesn't include the name of the island.

I know, I did the same thing and it took me ages to find the right answer. Personally I think it's a little misleading, which is why so many people are struggling to get it. For the record, the accepted answer is:

Thank you very much, I would've never gotten.
I think it's stupid that they make the game only accept one answer, I wrote in
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
driven ashore
which should mean the same thing and still it didn't accept it.
