So no one's even near there?
Am I gonna need to fly out there this weekend with the chance I won't even run into Keith?
I'll do it to, if he ever gets back to me on that.
I want that mask.

Seems like someone else is going to be there too.
Here's two emails Keith sent me:
Quote:
James,
Yeah, Saturday afternoon should work out fine. There's actually someone else
who's also talking about heading that way, too. Actually, it might be better
if two people came. As if I needed something else freaky to happen
to me, last
night something really weird went on and to make a long story short,
I have more
than just the one item that I want to hand off. Anyway, let me know what your
thoughts are and we'll plan from there.

By the way, it's nothing personal, but I'm feeling like I'm really exposed
everywhere I go... it's entirely possibly that I might not be the one you meet
there. I'm hoping to get some friends to help out, people who aren't as
conspicuous as I am (although maybe I'm not that conspicuous, I certainly feel
like it at this point). Just wanted to let you know.
KM
And seriously, I got dibs on the mask.
Tech is kinda my thing, even when I was in the military, people came to me to fix their junk.
Oh, and does anyone have any questions for whoever makes the drop?
And MG, if I get anything other than the mask, I'll send somethin out to ya. I know you wanted some swag.

I like that. I like how Dave says that kind of stuff to get outta having to fly allover the country just to do drops. lol i think it would have been just cool however, had i not told everyone it was dave early on, for him to use different actors all to play Keith since no one ever gets a pic of him or anything. oh well

CK - Please email me Red_hattySPLATyahoo.com so we can try to coordinate the meet if you are going too. Plus, if we both get masks - I'll make sure you get the Tech one
My travel arrangements are set - just waiting on the details from Keith - he has my cell # I'd like to exchange cells with you, CK so we can be in contact - Meet for brunch or something????
[edit to add] Does anyone have a pic of Dave? I'd like to know if that is who I actually meet - maybe get an autograph on the comic

Good luck finding each other and Keith's contact, this weekend. Wish I could justify the expense in dollars and time it'd take to go. Make sure you've got the terms of the meet down so there is NO POSSIBLE WAY you'll have any "confusion".
I know what you mean, CK about the tech thing. I was a 26Y in the army and got hounded to fix everybody's stuff, too. I've made a Battlebot and other (much smarter) robots and scratch-built a mini buggy, so it's hard to see that one go.
