Mine is Arcades. There's definitely an amusement park, fair theme Cool

or not. It seems like as more are added my theory is wrong. Some are related and some aren't.

Sorry for being dense, but what's the link for the page which lists the newly picked numbers? The only page I'm finding is the one which lists the results for May 27th.

By the way, my word is BANDAGE. I wonder what the puzzles are this week. Good luck to everyone who was picked.

I don't get to play this week, but since I hope I get some help when it's my turn, I'm willing to help out now.

Quote:
Question 2: The picture below shows several food items for which the International Federation of Competitive Eating keeps statistics. For this question please identify: a) each food item; b) the name of the person who is credited with eating the most of the item in a set period of time; and c) the hidden message made up by their names.

Here is the food (best I can tell):

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Spam - 6 pounds of SPAM from the can/ SPAMARAMA
12 minutes/ Apr. 3, 2004, Richard LeFevre

Onion - 8.5 ounces Maui Onions (three onions)/ Whalers Village
1 minute/ Aug. 8, 2004, Eric Booker

Cannolli - 21 cannoli
6 minutes, Cookie Jarvis

Mayonnaise -4 32-ounce bowls mayonnaise
8 minutes, Oleg Zhornitskiy

Corndog - 12 Fletcher's Corny Dogs/ State Fair of Texas
10 minutes/ Sept. 28, 2003, Richard LeFevre

Beef Tongue - 3 pound 3 ounces pickled beef tongue whole
12 minutes, Dominic Cardo

Here is the official Internation Federation of Competitive Eating (IFOCE)

The secret message? Hint:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's not the names of the *food*.

Damn, I "WISH" I could have entered this week. I think I could have gotten all of these puzzles. Maybe next week.

For Question 3, part c:
Quote:
c) Name the amusement park that ironically burned to the ground just hours before it was due to open for the year, and the ride that was supposedly being worked on and helped ignite the fire.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It was the Dreamland Park in Coney Island. The ride was, irionically, WIlliam Ellis' Hellgate - a boat ride. Learn more here So.. a boatride through the caverns of hell.. caused the fire. that burned down the park. Very ironic indeed
