Hi, I'm new to the Wish, have been reading over CTW1 - there is a lot of info to take in! I'm currently playing Perplex City which was my first ARG, so this will be a totally new way of playing. Good luck to all.

I'm not sure where to start on this one, and I didn't play CTW1, but I'll see what I can do.

For those of you new to the world of The Wish: WELCOME. Read, Google, Search, Enjoy. You are in for a great ride of puzzles, relationships, story, interaction. I'm expecting some video even.

To all my old friends from the first Chasing of the Wish: WELCOME BACK. You know what a great story our PM can tell, the depth and richness of the material, and the expected sleepless nights as we dig deep into a mystical realm.

Varin's Guide and Aveena's Guide are still available - one of the best resources for the first story (or you can read Dale's comic which is telling the tale from his point of view).

The Search function here at UF (using the Archived CTW forum) is a huge help if one of us old farts makes a reference to CTW1 and while we will try to explain it, you might want to go back to the source. And even our own memories can be fuzzy (I find myself Searching a little bit as well). The end game got a little complicated even for me at the time.

Hi everyone, I'll be playing too. I first became aware of ARGs with ilovebees, although I didn't really follow it. I've been following The Lost Experience because I watch the show, and that got me interested in ARGs again, so here I am!

I'm new to this as well. I just read through all of the guides to the original CTW and I have to say, that was quite an imformation overload!

The only other ARG I've been involved with was EA's Majestic. It was pretty disappointing, but mostly due to the fact that there was so little to do in that game. (And the puzzles and such were waaaaaaay too easy).

I'll be the first to admit I'm really lousy at puzzle solving, but I am decent at seeing patterns, and finding information in searches.

Anyway, I look forward to working with you all!

Sometimes linquistics can play a role in a deciphering a puzzle.

That is one of the great things about this community. We all bring different skill sets to the forum. Doesn't matter if you've been playing ARG since The Beast, or if you just stumbled in here by accident. I remember my first ARG (if you don't count Push,NV) - it was CTW1. I had an amazing time and met so many great people (via this forum & #unfiction chat). I guess that is why I have so much passion for CTW2.
