Hi Pam,

Sorry it's been a little while since I've written. I did make dinner
for Bruce
last week so I was busy planning that. Then there was a ton of phone
reservations and questions about our Father's Day brunch (since Bruce's
company
forgot to put it on the online calendar). And your questions. Then,
well, read
this and you'll understand.

About Diana. I remember now. She would come in to have a late lunch or
something, but only when Uncle Don was there. Sometimes Frank would
join them.
But since I would be working at the front, I never overheard any
conversation
(that I can recall). I guess I must have greeted her at the door so
often that
one or two times she showed me a picture of her daughter and that is
where I
must have seen Dale (in the picture). I don't know anything much about
how she
died beyond what Bruce mentioned (a car accident) and what you and
other people
have put in email (I think someone even directly accused Sal & Marco of
causing
the car accident).

But, more importantly, I used my secret listening post again last
weekend.
Sal & Marco came in to the bar on Monday night. When it seemed they
were
raising their voices, Uncle Don hustled them into the back room. So I
sneaked
into the bathroom (thought you might want to know what occurred). I
couldn't
grab any paper or pen to write it out as it happened, but as soon as I
got out,
I sketched it down.

It seems the boys found out about the creepy pale skinned, black
dressed men
who were there at the meeting last month, and who followed Bruce and
Dale out
the door after they left (they called them "dead eyes"). Sal started
questioning Uncle Don about the family's involvement with these same
strangers.
Remember they were kicked out of the meeting last month. Turns out they
didn't
leave (instead, they were sitting outside in one of their SOD trucks)
and saw
the "dead eyes" go into EmptyThreats. They were very riled up and were
almost
yelling about wanting to know what is going on. Seems these same guys
roughed
up Sal and Marco back at Dale's house and Sal was acting all pissed
that his
own father may have known about it. Now this started turning into a
back-and-
forth yelling match. Uncle Don and Frank were not happy with the
"disrespect"
(dis-obeying an order from Uncle Don is a big "no-no"). And Uncle Don
really
laid it in to the boys (I was shaking from all the nasty language, even
though
I don't know any Italian, I could tell he was using swear words). He
did use
English when he said that the two of them almost ruined his plans with
that
stupid incident, plans he had been in the works for years and years. He
then "fired" them from any responsibilities in the family, at least
temporarily. Sal started yelling back, about how SOD Construction is
"his"
business and he knows all about what he is doing, he was pretty upset.
Fortunately, Marco calmed him down and pulled him out of the room (I
hope they
didn't notice I wasn't at the front door.

After they left, Uncle Don and Frank seemed to be discussing how to
deal with
Sal and Marco. They were talking in really hushed tones so it got
really
difficult to hear anything specific. I may not like the boys, but I'm
are
afraid something bad is going to happen.

I'm sticking close to home this week. I'm even skipping my weekly date
with
Bruce. I'm pretty sure no one has figured out my secret listening post
yet
(since no one said anything after last month). I'm thinking that right
now
Uncle Don really likes me alot (he's so pissed off at his other sons)
so I got
him a Father's Day card from me (I scribbled in "Uncle" next to the
"Father").
I hope he likes it.

You seem to be a really nice person. Because I'm not sure if I should
be
telling anyone about this, please be really careful who you talk to.

Maybe Don and Diana had something going privately?? And why would only Frank join them?? Never Marco or Sal? Anyone else got any thoughts to this?
Evidentally Frank knows all but Marco and Sal are often left in the dark. Could the accident been planned or staged? I dunno only specing here.
Also, maybe we shouldn't mention this to Dale at the moment? May make him go off the deep end...I dunno we really need him concentrating on other things right now. Just my opinion.

PROB FOR THE BEST IF WE SAY NOTHING OF THIS TO DON OR HIS FAMILY??
