[UPDATE] Aglaura News Sept. 26

Quote:
September 26, 2006:

Aglaura Police Nab Suspect

Chief Dawn Prufrock announced that the police department has arrested a person of interest in the disappearance of Meaghan Sprague. An anonymous tip led investigators to Greatwater General on Monday evening where they took Keith McCoy into custody. McCoy, a former employee of the hospital, is suspected of kidnapping Meaghan Sprague after murdering her mother, former councilwoman Diana Sprague, on September 20, 2006.

McCoy had previously been investigated by Aglaura police for the theft of six masks from the Aglaura Library, as well as the missing persons case involving another local youngster, Brad Wheeler. He was not formally charged in either case.

Prufrock indicated that McCoy could face charges for both the kidnapping of Meaghan Sprague and for the murder of Diana Sprague. Meaghan's father and Diana's ex-husband, Dale Sprague, was unavailable for comment.
