Dear Chasing The Wish Fan,

It's June already, the days are getting longer and hotter here in Aglaura as Summer and the changes it brings are right around the corner. This is Dale Sprague with your pre-Summer Chasing The Wish update. I haven't had a chance to write to many of you over the past few weeks, so I thought perhaps a newsletter might be the best way to fill everyone in on what's going on in the world of my comic book, and what the future holds for Chasing The Wish.

Chasing The Wish Book One Fourth Online Installment

The fourth Online Installment of Chasing The Wish Book One will be released this Tuesday, June 13th, presenting the final story pages from the first issue of the series. The series has become one of Webcomics Nation's most popular new books, and many readers have written to me asking what will become of it once the fourth installment is released. Well, I can't reveal all the details yet, but I can tell you that this Tuesday's release will not be the last installment to come out as part of Book One. And yes, everyone who has purchased a subscription to all 4 installments will be given access to the additional content for free. More soon.

Chasing The Wish on Amazon.com and in Bookstores

It's taking a little longer than expected but Chasing The Wish Book One should be showing up on both Amazon.com and in local book and comic book stores shortly. You would not believe the incredible amount of work (and patience!) necessary to get an independent graphic novel from a small publisher into those retail venues, but at last all the forms have been filled out, all the fees paid, and all the i's dotted and t's crossed, so it shouldn't be too long now.

Are You an Aspiring Artist and a Fan of Chasing The Wish?
Even if you can barely draw stick figures, you can have your Fan Art from Chasing The Wish published in the next issue of the series. All you need to do is send in your artwork for consideration. I'll personally be choosing a few of them to publish in Chasing The Wish Book Two, and you'll be on your way to fame and fortune in the exciting world of comic book art! Any fan whose artwork is published will receive a free copy of Chasing The Wish Book Two and a FREE Chasing The Wish tee shirt too. Details available here.

I'm incredibly proud and actually a little sad to announce that the first official print run of Chasing The Wish Book One is almost entirely sold out, in just about a month from its initial release. Don't worry though, a second print run is already on the way, and you still have a chance, if you hurry, to snap up the last available copies of the first run. The new version will have some minor differences, mostly corrections for typos and the like, and will be marked "Second printing," making the first run books potential collector's items. Order yours now here.
