Dear Pam,
Thank you so much for the yahoo greeting card. It did bring a smile. I
am deep
in thought, my friend, deeply pondering the meaning of my life and what
I have
done with it. I have spent too much of it thinking about what others
expected
of me and too little asking what it is I want or expect from myself. I
am
coming to terms with who I am and who I want to be and getting beyond
where I
am seems frought with dangers and the destruction of all I have known
and
thought I loved. I don't know yet where I am going or who I will
become. Do you
remember my telling you about Columbus and landing where you don't
expect?
Well, I am in the midst of a storm heading into unchartered waters. I
will
report when I have a better grasp of the strange land in which I have
arrived.
Until then, your support, and the support of others, means more than I
can say.
