Game ending?

In case you haven't read this already, go to the News page of the zombie game. There will be no more quests as of Monday! That's the only reason I am playing!

first off, yes and no.
Quote:
End of Support
As of midnight BST on Monday 26 June, we will no longer be supporting the Zombie Game in a full-time capacity.

This doesn't mean that the game will be dissappearing, or that existing players will be asked to pay. We'll keep the server up, pay for the bandwidth, monitor the forums and generally sweep up from time to time.

It does mean that we won't be adding many new quests, fixing bugs particularly quickly, or otherwise keeping the game shiny and cared for.

So if you've been developing a passion for the game, you've got some choices:

1. Go and find a game that is being supported!

2. Decide that you'd like to keep The Zombie Game running (there are more than enough suggested quests to keep going) and email us to volunteer to become a game moderator.

To allow others to keep the game going (and improve it, if required) we're happy to release the complete source code to volunteer moderators and allow them to tweak it and extend it.

secondly, i was so ticked about dotty, as i think i posted previously, i had it right away, but i guessed a different version of the name that was just as valid... well, it is now in the answer bank, as i wrote an email to ian and he accepted it. so not any version of the name will work. thank goodness.

Apologies for Dotty. For me, the answer that I originally set was the obvious one - so obvious that it didn't occur to me to think about any others. which just goes to show that you need one mindset to create puzzles and a different one entirely to solve them.

okay, going crazy... Elementary School

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Zombie School is the name of an RL Stine "give yourself goosebumps" book - which was a branch off of the normal goose bumps book sin that they were choose your own adventure, and sometimes had puzzles/riddles/games to play in them... but i can't find much ABOUT the book, and for that matter have no clue if this is related to it or not...

HELP!!!

that's an interesting theory.

I suggest that anyone who hasn't gotten it read the question again. there's a good solid bit of direction there.

plus one more thing...
this is a British game.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
why isn't it called primary school?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
elementary
was out of the ordinary... didn't realize the game was british, but it probably still would not have pinged.

okay, so i tried
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
element 136 - Untrihexium
- and it said i was wrong. that was the only thing i could come up with for
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
element 136.

In this case,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the sum is not necessarily greater than the parts.

How many total quests are currently available? I've done 29 and have 3 open (total 32). Requests for more fail at the moment. Anyone have a higher total count?

Base Pairs - Please Help!!!

I have spent way too much time working Base Pairs. The tips provided here are great but I still must not be doing something right. I am actually at the "ripping my hair out stage" and on me bald is not beautiful - red hair works best! If someone would like pity me and either give me the most obvious hint (or the answer) I would greatly appreciate it! Twisted Evil

6/27 - Got it - Thanks to all!
