[Update] Terrini Blog Update 6/02

Hey everyone!... new update at http://terrini.blogspot.com/

It says:

Quote:
I can deal with this. I get sick to my stomach when I look at poor John sitting there all helpless, but I can be strong enough to help him. I won't cower before Larry's quips and jokes anymore. I'm holding up because that's what Charles would do. But today ran away from birds. Birds! Argh.

I learned that animals really don't like the rituals at all. I hadn't noticed it before. Some neighborhood dogs were barking at me last night, but dogs are always barking. Today, though, I went to a pet store and it was like the twilight zone. As soon as I walked in, I realized that all the animals were staring at me. The whole place was quiet and an employee asked, "Why did they stop making sounds?" Everyone there looked a little freaked, but I think I was the only one who noticed that the animals were all pushed up against their cages. Hundreds of tiny little eyes followed me to the bird cages. I talked the attendant into taking out the Macaw for a moment. It was beautiful! It just stared at me, eerily quiet. I felt bad for using it in these rituals. I almost told it I was sorry.

Then I asked it to say my name to try and lighten myself up, but it continued to stare. I gave it back and held the clay piece up. I said "Ehmet" as they closed the cage and the place erupted. The Macaw screamed EHMET back at me and suddenly the store filled with sound. The dogs barked at the top of their lungs, I could hear the cats yowling and the birds all screamed in unison.

I don't think I've run that fast in my life. I had to get out.

Now John isn't just blind. It looks like the muscle melted off his already skinny arms, and he can hardly lift them up. He's starting to look so fragile… I suggested that we try to find another way to help his sister but he wouldn't hear of it. I've never heard him sound so sure of himself before. He told me to keep doing the ritual, no matter what. He made me promise.

So, Cyphers, we need two things reversed:

Walk into an empty house and
Cage a free spirit.

Tomorrow I will "Silence a voice" and Sunday I will "Destroy a Memory"

I hope all this doesn't kill John.

Ok... so we've got to figure out how to do the antipodes of:
-Silence a voice
and
-Destroy a Memory

here's my ideas (Spoilered cause im not sure if it should be or not)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

For "Silence a voice" can we get a microphone/ amplifier or a megaphone?

and

For "Destroy a memory" could we take a picture of someone taking a picture... creating a memory?

Unless i get response telling me otherwise, i'll try to send out the pics in the morning

For silence a voice you could also use a cell phone. My idea for destroy a memory was to open up a pic of the clay tablet on my computer, open up the save as box then take a screen shot. Thats creating a memory, right?

Hey, i like both those ideas. Especially the cell phone, thats much easier for me to get my hands on than a megaphone

I have taken pics of all of the counter rituals except the "enter an empty house". I guess i could just take a pic from outside my house, there are 4 people in the house, not really a full house but not empty either.

My cage a free spirit counter ritual was funny. I was going to use my cat but she doesn't like to be caged so i found a spider in my house and released him outside. It took ages to get the spider to stay still on my hand. I just hope Sue isn't scared of spiders Laughing

The documents said that repeating the rituals would make the magic stronger so we should all send pics if we can.

While I was taking these pictures, my brother suggested 2 new ideas: For the silence a voice, we used the first ammendment to the united states constitution (guarentees free speech), and for the memory one i put the symbol on a mirror and took a picture of the mirror, with the reflection of me in it.

EDIT: Its just after 1PM and I just sent out a couple of pics

just sent a picture of a crowded street for the antipode to Empty House

and sent a video clip of me saying Emeth to counter silence a voice.

and a picture of my daughter taking a picture of me taking a picture of her to oppose destroying a memory.

I'll try and think of something to counter caging free spirit
