Actually, what I'm seeing on the Conspiraspy page is this:

I think you are right. And it also looks like he is being held together by duct tape. Laughing

Another way to find the password is in the source for http://richerdeeperbroader.com about 2/3 of the way down.
That's from BriMcD10 of the Fuselage forums.

I also vote for the shark not being organic. The skin certainly looks a thin rubber sheet, but what's under it is kind of a mess to figure out.

I made a little diagram picture of what I think everything is. Check it out.

I like that diagram alot - but it's the stuff in between the words "fly" and "duct tape" that I find the most interesting, and hardest to decipher.

This is a close up on the fly. When you first open the page the fly flies on to the shark and walks around.

This is the actual fly image from the flash file.

I took the fly as an indicator that the shark is indeed organic, hence the fly is intrested in the corpse. no?

MAYBE THE FLY IS A SPY. THE FLY ISN'T REAL.

Ok, maybe.

Sharks and DJ Dan

The shark body on the DJ Dan site is described as a "partially decayed shark carcass" with no indication of mechanical parts - so there must be at least some biological/genetically engineered Dharma sharks out there.

This makes me think about DJ Dan's first podcast again. Specifically the War of the Worlds broadcast.

They cause a fake panic, expose it as a hoax, and everything goes back to normal. A couple years later when the pictures do leak and everybody thinks it's another hoax, that's the truth.

Everything DJ Dan says, and everything on his site is so phony that you have to believe it's fake. So maybe Dan really is working with Hanso and put up those terrible Dharma shark photos to take credibility away from the new photo Persephone gave us.
Although I should probably hold judgement until the next podcast later today.

Maybe we're not meant to look at the shark itself but the kind of wound it's sustained. I don't really think it looks metal to me; the inner part looks pretty much like decaying flesh x_x

I agree that some of it looks like flesh, but another part looks clearly like dented metal, and the skin is definitely synthetic. Also, there's no blood. Cyborg-shark?

I agree the wound is generally organic looking, but the skin looks very synthetic to me. Hence my confusion. And the presence of the fly tends to favor the shark being organic as well.

It could just be the PMs didn't have a real wounded shark to photograph...but I prefer not to think in those kind of terms. They should know how the photo will be dissected (ha), so that would just be too sloppy.

What IS really interesting is the clear link this clue seems to make to the Dharma Initiative, if not the Island itself.
