Here are two more pics from Myspace.com/leeleak. They appear to be hints for the clues we've already solved.

This is getting a little out of control now...almost like a goose chase - not a code decipher...but anyways-

I never got a blue print? like the ones on the second page of this forum? Where is that from? After the first clue, I went right to the cipher disks. Odd.

Anyways, the root of sabotage is "saboter", in french, or "sabot".

A = T G = C is also in refference to the Double Helix, they are four nucleic acids
Adenine, Thymine, Guanine and Cytosine, that make up our DNA.
A always binds to T and G always binds to C

And another thing...for the www.myspace.com/leeleak
...The picture that says "Investigate...Anthropo-telegraph", You are looking for 4 letters...
The 4 letters that match in Anthropo- and Telegraph are T, R, A, P...

Or TRAP?

I dont know if this bears any significance, but I am driving myself insane over these 4 clues. Right now, I am going back over the statements made in Clue 1, and the Asterisked number sequence in Clue 2. Something must be going on with that.

Something must be going on with this game, because my Spidysense is tingling. I keep getting the feeling that you want nudge us to work on a specific thing in a specific direction, but are refraining from being too specific. IF (and this is possibly an overly paranoid IF) you are related to the person who created these puzzles, please do not nudge us. This is not a polite request, but a rule on these forums.

And if you are not affiliated with the creator of these puzzles, my apologies for being suspicious. It was your comment about keyboards which started the ball rolling, I will grant you that. How did you find out about this contest and our little corner of the world to collaborate on it? Feel free to join us in chat where we do some of our best brainstorming.

Now, I've had some thought at this wee hour of the morning (even before I read what Mystatude was getting at). I think the thing which was not clear from the start is that each clue page has two parts: a clue and a puzzle; solving a puzzle gains access to the next clue PAGE. We approached the Clue 1 page as a single unit, because it wasn't clear that the instruction to "Find the code and use the photo of the Leak to decipher the first clue" WAS the clue. In fact, the page begins with the title "Clue 1:" and launches directly into the PUZZLE, asks the question to be solved and then tacks on this clue. I think instead it should be read as if it looked like this:
Quote:
Clue 1: Find the code and use the photo of the Leak to decipher the first clue.

Hint 1: The code you need to decipher the first clue is pointed to by the following puzzle.

Next step: To proceed to Clue 2, solve this puzzle.
followed by the logic puzzle, and the example of how to format the solution. In this way, each clue PAGE can be broken apart, the puzzle removed, and what remains is the clue being given, a series of clues to a meta-puzzle or challenge. In a future post, I'll return with a summary of what we know so far.

Oh, and by the way, the Intel/Assignments page has been updated, or was that blue blip always there? (I'll let you have the click of discovery.)

This is my guess for the above blueprint

GOAT BAG http://www.mtntools.com/cat/mt/luggage/WildThingsBurrowMuleBags.htm

VULTURE has to do with the photo on myspace
which I belive is a EUROPEAN Black Vulture seen on the second page of the google search "vulture photo"

AGO BEA?
CASELOAD
BLUEPRINT
DOLLAR ?
A STAGE ?
SHOP KEY or SHOPKEEPER
BLEWG?
CODERED
I'm just not sure if all the word are compound or not.

As for the cipher disks, I noticed that each disk has one of the last 5 letters of the alphabet V, W, X, Y and Z
and the numbered disks have the last digets 6, 7, 8, 9 and 0
I still can't figure out any translation.

We are awash in multiple clues, puzzles, trails, etc.

http://www.realsabotage.com/print/blue.php
WELL DONE! You have cracked part one of the code and received a piece of the secret puzzle. (um, no, we've solved some puzzles, and gathered some clues, and haven't even solved all them completely, but thanks for the vote of confidence.)

So the blue image is "a piece of the secret puzzle" and there are seven more to be found -- six more, since we found one hidden at http://www.realsabotage.com/full/bp428.jpg

Pasting the two together, I get:
Code:
GOATBASE    1125
VULTURE     6485
AGOBEAST    7531
CASELOAD    0145
BLUEPRINT   7325
DOLLARBILL  8462
ASTAGEBO    9991
SHOPKEEP    6314
BLEWGREEN   1591
CODEREDD    2744
I'm not sure if we can even begin to tackle this step until all other clues are solved and pieces gathered.

I was going to post a long recap of all of the clues, but for now i'll just attached my notes.

Yet another piece of the blueprint, this one culled from a video on Lee Leak's myspace page.

Hey. CatherineWood---I have no affiliation with the game whatsoever. I am a business major in college right now, and after taking 3 computer classes, and the term "YOUR keys", I only assumed the computer keys as a means for figuring the code. And how can I get into the chat?

I am searching for the remainder of the blueprints.

Until then...

question

So I'm new to this. Really new. And I have a question that may seem obvious. How did you go about procuring the blueprint from the website?

The 2nd post on the very first page of this thread says, "Shouldn't put stuff out on the server that should be saved for later." Perhaps that was a bit obscure, but basically it means that we opened directories and found files that weren't meant to be found.

You can see for yourself that http://www.realsabotage.com/images/ is not a protected directory. Imagine on the first day of the site launch that we do what all seasoned ARG people do, which is drill down every URL on the site, and we see several interesting things. Some of us thought to grab a few of those files, the one of most interest being the blueprint which konamouse transferred to her flickr account for us all to share. Then the webmaster found out and pulled off those files which were not intended for early release.

Hey everyone, been having trouble registering here, but I've been following this thread for awhile. You all do good work. Going all the way back to clue 2, I think I figured out part of the problem. Ehsan, you are just too good for this puzzle, you overanalyzed.

I don't know how I saw it, but let's look at 80 = K. It's not 8 +2 = (1)0. Think of the keyboard as a crooked grid. K is the letter you get when you trace from 8 down to the right and from 0 down to the left, where those two lines meet. Same for N = 69, go down from the 6 and down from the 9 and meet at N. It works on all of them and is only a small difference from the way you've been doing it, but it might help. Of course, it still leaves question to the =9 and the whole 7/11 not 6/10 bit.

This could also explain why there is an error with the L from deoxynucleic acid in clue three. There is no way to get an L from my pattern and so is simply 9. Further, this makes P coded by only 0 (zero).
