[SITE] www.retrieversoftruth.com in TV ad (June 6) The Hanso commercial just ran at 10:15 listing this site at the end. I don't know what it means and I apologize if this is posted somewhere and I missed it.

(moderator adding the URL as a link in the post, because it's nice to be able to click on it, and also because it's best not to rely on the topic always having it spelled out -- catherwood)

The commercial was (as always ?) identical, with the exception of the URL. Fortunately they slapped the sponsored by Hanso Foundation logo in the upper-right hand corner. I initially thought I'd had a typefart.

I guess this is how Verizon is contributing. Much less "in your face" than the Sprite folks!

Newsletter There's a newsletter you can sign up for:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you sign up you get an email response
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It reads as follows:
You're about to enter...
First let's start this by saying, "thank you."
There's a word into which dreams can come true. This email is your
gateway to that word and more that will open your mind and your
consciousness.
Imagine a field - a field of yellow... yellow labs running free,
playful, and enjoying each other's company. But in their hearts they
are not complete. They miss an integral part of their being and the
thing that makes their existence complete. That one thing is the "word"
for which we all search - mankind and labkind.
But first a story.
I was checking into a hotel and a dapper porter escorts me to my room.
As we're going up the elevator in total silence I decide to ask him
his name. He replies, "Mandrake Wig" and immediately starts to explain
the odd name, his German ancestry, and his mother's preoccupation with
botany. He ends the story by saying, "my friends just call me Manny."
We continue talking about our lives, hopes, and dreams as I'm getting
settled in my room. When he's done I offer a generous tip but he
refuses saying, "Let me give you a tip, a single word that will enrich
your life, as it has mine." I accept.
The next day I go to the front desk to leave a tip for Manny. They tell
me no such person works there. I question everyone with no luck. I
think about what he told me and write down his name so I don't forget
it. As I write I see something in the letters. I rearrange a few and
create the words, "waking dream."
The word he gave me that day was - YOU.

Subscribed and got my response in seconds.
So far, all I can say, albeit quite evident, is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Anagramming the doc's name, we get "yellow lab" again. Am I the only one thinking that maybe we're being pointed not to yellow LABrador dogs, but to some (somehow "yellow") LABoratory?

I find it funny that the link at the top to the main page is ROT Home.
ROTing may be the key somewhere here.

Notice the dates, on the home page, of Bolé's speeches:
9/21/05: to members of the Hanso Foundation
9/22/05: at a conference in Australia
Plus, there's the whole UN thing again.

Mental Health Appeal I was thinking that 'waking dream' was as good a text snippet to put into that 'tell us about yourself' box in the Mental Health Appeal project area.
I was wrong. it didn't work.

Interesting that the last quote attributed to the good Dr was spoken to members of the Hanso Foundation: "The things that aren't said can be more important than those that are." A clue? Or just the obvious?

I found this in the source after thinking I saw something weird flashing on the text box on the time line.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1991 - 12 homeless men sleeping beneath scaffolding of a building under construction in New York City's lower east side escaped death just before the scaffolding collapsed. When asked how they managed to get away without injury they told authorities that a yellow dog warned them. All were immediately committed.
Interesting. I wonder if that building could be

Here is a complete timeline
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
40,000 BC - Cave paintings of light colored dogs are found near Ceci Est Tout Faux, France. Scrawl around imagery is translated: yellow dog warns us all.
1899 - A yellow Labrador is born to Black Lab mother in Austrailia. The Porter family, who owned the dog, insists it be burned as an abomination. He is saved by the child of a kindly servant named Lloyd.
1903 - Lord Dilfer of Trent barely avoids death from an oncoming carriage. He later says he was warned by a friend, though he was accompanied by no one but his loyal yellow Labrador retriever.
1938 - Vincent 'Wally' Bolé is born but not into greatness. That will be thrust upon him soon enough.
1959 - The government's secret testing and experimentation on Yellow Labs is leaked to the press by a clerk at the hidden facility in the Yellowstone National Park. He tells reporters he was 'compelled' to reveal the information.
1991 - 12 homeless men sleeping beneath scaffolding of a building under construction in New York City's lower east side escaped death just before the scaffolding collapsed. When asked how they managed to get away without injury they told authorities that a yellow dog warned them. All were immediately committed.
2001 - After extensive work with yellow labs I create The Retrievers of Truth.
2006 - I launched ROT site to massive praise and overwhelming newsletter requests. Have you signed up?
As the above post pointed out, there is one missing from the timeline.

Not to bring up the TV show but Walt's dog Vincent is a lab who seems to have some weird connection to him mentally.
It is also wierd that the Hanso logo doesn't link back to the foundation page because they usually do.
I signed up for the newsletter and didn't get a response. Is there a setting that I have to change or something that I have to clear?
Thanks,
-S
